You think people want to use it as a scarecrow against trans people.
First you said no trans people would say this and it was all made up by nasty transphobes.
Then, when I demonstrated that the source of the advice for this glossary is an LGBT organisation advising a women's cancer charity, you said that no one was saying everyone should use the odious (look it up) term bonus hole, or that it was a trans ploy. No one has alleged that at any point on this thread. Not one person. So that's a totally irrelevant argument.
Now you're saying no trans people you know use the term bonus hole. I'm glad to hear that! But that isn't what you originally said is it? You said - in CAPITALS - NO trans person actually wants this or likes this.
Now you're saying that some people may want to use that term and it's a personal choice.
I agree. While I think it's a hideous term and women who use it have horrific internalised misogyny, it's up to people what term they use to refer to their genitals. But what isn't up to them is what other people use to refer to their genitals in a healthcare environment. And it is unreasonable to expect HCPs to not use proper medical terminology for all women, no matter what their identity.
So I think we probably agree.
And perhaps if you'd read the thread properly rather than jumping in huffing and puffing, you'd have understood that. But you know, while I don't like to cast aspersions on anyone's intelligence, if there's a thick person in this conversation, it's not me.
