So tired of cooking the same thing over and over again. I am the main cook for me dh and three boys, two are big teens and eat a lot, recently invested in a double air fryer.
We probably have a rotation of the same meals . If everyone shares their top 5 meals then there will be ideas for others.
Mine are
Fajitas,
Vietnamese style Pork with noodles and a fried egg
Pork chops in honey and soy
Carbonara
Sausage and bean casserole.
Cate to share yours?

It's right there in the thread title and the opening post- top five meals!

alphabetti · 09/07/2023 08:44

lentil mushroom and Spinich lasagna with salad

Tacos

Omelette usually with onions, mushrooms, meat free bacon and cheese inside and have with toast

Toasted bagel with homemade guacamole and salsa and feta on and a poached egg on top.

Pie mash and mushy peas and then gravy on.

shockedballoon · 09/07/2023 09:26

A chorizo thing - either risotto (with finely diced red pepper and carrots) or pasta with salad or stew with chickpeas and peppers and crusty bread.

Ramen (can be mushroom, chicken or pork depending on what's in/leftover)

Curried veg tray bake with my variation of tarka daal either with rice, naan or wraps-pretending-to-be-chapatis

Smoked mackerel rice. (DS's [13] favourite)
Diced onion & carrot, fry a bit, toss basmati in and add double the rice volume of veg stock, when rice is nearly done stir through frozen peas. Stir through a heaped tablespoon of cream cheese. Pick bones out of pack of smoked mackerel and toss flakes through rice mixture. Plenty of blackpepper.

Shakshuka with feta crumbled over the top and plenty of crusty bread.
