Trying to work out if it is good or not. Does this look like a child that has artistic potential and how old would you expect the child that drew that to be?

DD was doing similarish aged about 10, but seemed to be a bit ahead of her age group. Now an art teacher.

Really uncanny

not terribly flattering for Kate however.

QwertyWitch · 29/06/2023 18:14

Is it actually done by AI?

Laiste · 29/06/2023 18:15

Have we had the answer yet?

Is it going to be a 2 year old?

TeleTropes · 29/06/2023 18:16

8-9

Idratherbepaddleboarding · 29/06/2023 18:16

Aww it’s cute! I think year 2?

OliveTree75 · 29/06/2023 18:16

I teach 8 and 9 year olds and I think that’s pretty standard. Some of the children who are talented at art would probably do better than that.

fuckinghatepacking · 29/06/2023 18:17

Has the age been revealed yet?

I'm invested now!

OP is mortified some people said 6yo and will not be back.

QwertyWitch · 29/06/2023 18:17

I don't think a child would add many of the features. Like the 'strands' of hair in the parting, the blended blusher and the darkness in the background.

storminamooncup · 29/06/2023 18:18

seeing as the OP hasn't returned, I'd say she drew it 😂

Dagnabit · 29/06/2023 18:19

Art is subjective so if you think it’s good then it’s good. The next person may not agree. I think it’s good!

Yep it’s Victoria.

Vivi0120 · 29/06/2023 18:20

I would say 6-7. It's a good one. :)

Sausage1989 · 29/06/2023 18:21

2 months

SchoolShenanigans · 29/06/2023 18:22

9/10.

It's great but unless a 6/7 year old did it, I think it'd probably quite average, I less they've produced other masterpieces?

MysteryBelle · 29/06/2023 18:26

The nasty posters on here who are slagging off a child, whatever the age…I know there are often posts like these but time on mn is certainly best spent when it’s in the encouragement of a child. The nasty sarcastic comments tell us more about the poor character of the commenters than the artistic potential of the child who drew the picture. Some grown adults have the class of a sludge bucket. I’m sure ‘FFS’ or similar will be incoming in droves.

caringcarer · 29/06/2023 18:28

Probably an adult who paints in that style.

is that you OP? 😂

Channellingsophistication · 29/06/2023 18:30

I think it’s really good, and I’d say the work of a 10-year-old

caringcarer · 29/06/2023 18:30

OP are you going to tell us the answer please?

No one is slagging a child off at all.

The op has asked a question which will have such a diverse range of answers, purely due to the fact that artistic ability is something that develops the more you do it - so it could be done by a 6 year old who draws all the time or a 15 year old who has only just started.

It's an absolute ridiculous question, and the op would have been better stating the age of the child and asking how she could help develop the child's interest, rather than pages of people guessing random ages because there is no correct answer!

Arniesleftleg · 29/06/2023 18:32

There's a guy local to me, in his 30's that draws like this. He sells his pictures and people love them. He had a brain injury when he was younger and people love his drawings because they're quite quirky. In that case I'd find it difficult to say of this was a kid or adult and to be fair, if I drew the queen she'd look much the same as this!

Mylifeislikeaboatrace · 29/06/2023 18:35

OP is either busy or offended by the responses.
