Am i the only one in the world who doesn't see the fasination in Amy Winehouse?

Why does everyone say she is such a great talent and amazing? What am i missing?

I saw her on the Brits and she looked and sounded like a drunk pub singer to me

does she write all her own stuff? if so, then she's alot more interesting than most girl band types.
i like her voice, but can't quite see what all the rest of the fuss is about either

I felt sorry for her at the Brits. All that scrunching up with the skirt.

I do think she has got an amazing voice.

But its the sad old case of fame, money and probably wrong crowd.

Don't like her. She's unprofessional and IMO not good enough live to get away with all her misdemeanors.

when i spotted this thread i had amy on in the background,i went to see her inconcert in my home town just before see cancelled her tour,it was amazing(she was drunk )
and i paid double for my ticket i am a big fan and so is dd (5)

no I certainly don't think she has an amazing talent.

Someone on another thread likened her talent and longevity to that of the beatles .

Think she's overrated and tbh I think she'll be dead by the end of the year.

And valary is a cover so she certainly doesn't "write all her own stuff".

She obviously doesn't give a toss about her fans- the ones who pay for her drug & drink habit. Having shows cancelled, turning up drunk or drugged up. She doesn't seem to care about giving her fans a good performance so why give her the time of day.

she flaunts her adictions. She turns up to gigs pissed, stoned and takes pills on stage and that's on a good day. On a bad day she doesn't turn up at all and people still pay over the odds to see her. bloody disgraceful imo.

She really isn't that talented that people are happy to pay 40 quid a pop for the chance to see her getting off her face on stage.

I think Britney does actually have serious mental problems brought on by her being a child star rather than just a drink and drug problems alone.

she was an hour and a half late,and yes she was drunk but it did not effect her voice (she just kept hitting herself in the mouth with the microphone)
i love her dancers ,the whole concert was brilliant and i would love to go again money well spent

That trotting on the spot and clutching of dress she does, kinda facinates me actually...very odd looking. I imagine her and her mates spent one day in front of a mirror perfecting a weird dance.

But when i look away...and can't see the dance or the lollopy tongue...i quite like her

agreed. I'm not a fan of britney but there's a lot more going on there.

AW is just a junky, and her deluded fans are paying for her drug habbit. nice.

she's an amazing talent but she's wasting every bit of it.

her brits performance was embarassing, from what i heard on the radio.. i didnt see it but i hear that was awful to.
