I've currently got a large tub of Sudocrem propping open my sliding sash window because it won't stay up on its own!

Must look delightful to passers by.

Has anyone got any other suggestions on how to multi purpose things?

Potato masher to shut my kitchen window.
Dosing ball( laundry liquid) as a dog kibble scoop
Mop to clean bathroom tiles
I use handheld dyson with brush attachment instead of dusting

I just started a new one! A fat draught stopper as an under-knee pillow when I'm sitting on my bed, to spare my hamstrings from being overextended.

Searched this thread out to report that I have just used my electric toothbrush to clean mealy bug off of a prized orchidGrin Worked a treat!!!

nutcrackers that I've had for 30 years have never cracked a nut but opened lots of bottles/small jars

Teeth jetwasher ie Water flosser-use old attachments to wash out gunk in plug holes and overflows.
Heavy Egyptian sphinx ornament great for cracking nuts.
Steak tenderizer used to smash up unpeeled garlic (place cling film over mallet first & over garlic). Pick the skin out & job done.

My car doesn't have automatic folding side mirrors or indeed a button, so if I get in the car and forget to 'unfold the ears' I use my dogs throw ball stick thingy to push the far side one out. Hopefully someone else understands what I mean?

I often joke that my dog cleans the plates so no need to wash up. I know that will horrify some people (yes they do get soaked in hot water etc) but I still like to joke about it.

Another here for those dessert ramekins - salt on the window sill, used teabag holder, peanut/olive holder, cat treats for the dog when he goes to bed (won't go to bed without). I've collected dozens of them over the years. Must be the most recycled packaging item ever.

I use plastic kitchen tongs to get stuff high up that I can't reach

If I was more intelligent I'd put it somewhere I could easily reach

😐

I do this too! It’s very handy for grabbing crisp packets out of the high press.
