And re the latest with Trump, he and the Republicans are furiously pushing the angle that the FBI has been weaponized by the Democrats, in order to persecute the Republicans, and are criticizing the FBI director, Christopher Wray, in the harshest terms.

Christopher Wray is registered Republican.
He was first appointed to a government role by George W Bush, a Republican.
He was nominated to be the FBI Director by Donald Trump.
In a Senate vote, every Republican senator voted to confirm his appointment (a few Democrats voted against).

But now Trump voters think he’s overseeing some evil anti-Republican scheme, and it’s all the fault of the Democrats.

It would be funny if it wasn’t so terrifying.

For another, many of them were actually let into the building by police (who even posed for selfies).

If Trump had managed to give his supporters what they want then he would campaign on his record rather than spend his time stirring up hatred and othering people. Unless of course by saying he gives people what they want you mean a target to other and hate?

Could you perhaps explain what you mean by energy independence.

Additionally if you would like to comment on how steps towards peace with hostile nations such as Russia and China are going I would be much obliged.
