I'm not sure MN helps change my mind, and yes, I know people don't post their happy stories.

My own experiences, that of most of my friends, the women on here. It's endless. I know there are some guys that are nicer than others. I know some that I consider good friends. I still wonder, deep deep down if they're all degenerate when it comes to sex.

Porn, prostitution, rough sex, casual assaults, etc. I listened to womens hour today discussing a new BBC doc about the widespread groping on the tube in Japan. What's most shocking to me is the fact they have sex clubs there that allow men to pay to replicate that kind of sexual assault (clubs decked out like train carriages full of prostitutes that appear to resist as part of the fun). Thing is, it's not a fringe activity, it's a "thing". I totally despair. I try to be positive, I have a partner, I have a daughter that's growing up fas, but push comes to shove... wouldn't trust one man that deeply when their sexuality calls.

I don't. I genuinely don't. That's not to say they aren't out there.

I would not say all are degenerate but definitely most are a bit more basic, more open with their needs & desires as they are not made to feel ashamed of them from an early age, unlike women. to feel ashamed of them from an early age, unlike women.

Believe me, these women's attitude, some of them very young, pisses me off a lot more than the men's sexism frankly.

Literally holding women to a higher standard

Females who take testosterone are also degenerate about sex. Testosterone is the issue

I don't think most men are degenerate no, but I think most have those impulses. Partners/family help them to empathise and view women as people, but there's always 'the other' woman out there that they don't know. Presumably they're the ones they'd like to grope/assault etc. I think most wouldn't dream of treating women as objects because they know its wrong, but if there was some sort of apocalypse or New World Order where they had social permission to do 'bad things' lm pretty sure many would be impregnating 15 year olds.

I don't believe that MEN are degenerate because they are men.

There are many examples of selfless men sacrificing themselves to save a child's life or another's human life. It would be just as ridiculous to judge the entire men population based on them.

I also believe that looking at any man and assuming he's degenerate and would be violent as soon as he could is absolutely ridiculous.

Today I met my neighbours Mr. and Mrs. Y in the street. They are.in their 70s, he still a fine looking man in his blazer and flannels, she a dainty little thing in a pretty dress but clearly not in the best of health. She has emphysema and he looks after her. He shops, cooks, cleans. He takes her out for walks and lunch. The walks are getting shorter but she says she manages because he always keeps his arm round her which he does, as if he can stop her slipping away in an agony of coughing

Love is what keeps them going. It' s real and it's strong and you probably see it every day if you look.

No one has said all men are degenerate.

But men are the biggest problem our society faces.

YABU. I couldn't have been without the amazing men in my life. The father who raised me, when my mum didn't want to know, and the husband, who I've been happily married to for nearly 20 years. There are lots of thoroughly decent men out there. You just need to know where to look.

Yes, of course there are a lot of men like that. However, this is MN, home of the man haters, where a man only has to be a man to be "degenerate" apparently. As I mentioned in an earlier post, if anyone doesn't like (or is scared of) a man/men they don't have to have anything to do with them. Anyone reading some of the posts on here would think that all women are wonderful, not a fault to be found, which is very much untrue. However, men apparently have to be perfect, while women can behave however they want to and that's okay.

The problem is that while of course there are good men, most of them choose not to do anything, in their personal, work and parenting lives to change the way men function in society, and the general perception of masculinity.

Men are very basic creatures. The better ones are those 'housetrained' early in life by a happy long term relationship. Men are also much more prone to addictions to violence to affairs etc.

I believe men wear masks of decency around their partners and in society.
Rapists, abusers, violent incels etc. They don't walk around frothing at the mouth, they have friends, wives, sisters, aunts, mother's etc.

It's only when they think they'll get away with it does their real self appear.

Or how about the 'Bois Locker Room' teenage lads? How many of their mum's thought those lads were wonderful and kind?

Time and time again men hide their true nature to appear as something else.

Before anyone says #NAMALT really really think..

When have you heard or seen your wonderful husband / son / brother etc. Alone with other men?
And then think about the friends they keep..
Do they have that 1 friend who is a bit creepy?
Or has raped / abused / been violent to a woman / used prostitutes / addicted to porn / all his exes are psycho etc.
How wonderful can your man be if they have friends like that?

This is exactly how I think. I think if you believe anything else you are naive.

So there’s too many examples I could mention, but men I have worked with or known personally (many of them right on hippy types) that I have overheard or become aware of things that have opened my eyes.

Seen them elbowing their mates to tell them to shut up as I was there when too much was being revealed that might incriminate them. Men I work with who seem really cool, works nights out, overhearing them discussing young women and lap dances on stag nights etc. their wives would be devastated, and would never expect it.
