What went on here and who thought it was ok to not repaint?

That really is bizarre.

The thing that really stood out for me was the strange faux door painted at an angle half way up the wall. Just why?

I mean obviously the human figures are incredibly odd but the door just seemed, well, inexplicable.

Well, it's, umm, original.. no silver & grey there!

The figures appear to be having some sort of bizarre sex party.

Granted it won't be to everyone's taste but then decor is all down to individual taste and preference

I admit, I don't think paint would do it for the mannequin wall, imagine if they clawed back to the surface. I'd have to strip back, re-plaster, and possibly encase in paper too. Just to be sure.

Whatever you think about the inside - and it IS hideous - it can always be changed/painted over. I am more concerned about the outside. It's hideous. A really ugly block (from the 1960s I think.)

Every block in the midlands or Staffordshire, that I have ever seen (like this,) is full of wrong 'uns, violence, drugs, and crime. Ewww, I would rather live in a caravan ta!

But yeah, it must be someone who is trying to get rid of it fast and CBA to do anything to it. It's minging!

It’s the matching shades of green light fitting

When I first met DH he lived with his Grandparents and he slept in what was his Mum’s bedroom growing up. She’d hand painted rugby players on the wall in her teens and nobody had ever redecorated so I walked in to these really huge murals of 1970s rugby players painted on the wall. It was really weird but I just laughed it off.

Those paintings are a bit weird, you would have thought the seller would want to actually sell it so would have painted over it but there you go.
