Interview for 70 minutes (I think) Wonder what will be said, don’t blame him at all for being angry and wanting his say. Watched a few old This morning clips today of Ruth & Eamonn with Rylan etc and it was really entertaining, the squabbles etc, humour and interesting discussions. It’s actually quite sad it’s all gone to pot now.

And seriously, accusing anyone of being part of Schofield’s PR because they think Eamon Homes is an arsehole is just another cheap shot which means nothing.

It’s perfectly possible to not agree with what PS has done, as well as to know that Eamon Homes is a twat. Just because he’s taking the moral high ground now and trying to boost his own fandom and the GB news ratings, doesn’t make him a decent person.

As already stated upthread, let’s not forget this is the man who asked a rape survivor whether she’d learned her lesson about not getting a taxi on the night she was raped.

There's certainly more on there than I've ever seen on main stream channels , a bigger variety of topics and a wider variety of guests . Dan Wooten I'd never seen until last night and wasn't impressed but some of the daily shows are much less ' tabloid ' . I've learn about the post office scandal , leasehold / cladding / grenfell , the plight of waspi women more than anywhere else .

I doubt that it will make GB news ratings go up in the long term, people watching will just see what a terrible channel it is. JRM was on before this interview in what looked like a weekly programme, says it all really.

It can be both though. Because the reality is that this isn’t anything to do with what went on at This Morning, this is to do with certain individuals wanting to big up themselves again and to play the victim.

And let’s be honest here, because of what PS has done anyone who worked on TM could say “I was sacked because of PS” and they would be believed because of the timing, doesn’t matter whether it was true or not.

The rumours about PS need to be investigated by the professionals now, he’s left TM, this shouldn’t be seen as a reason for Eamon Homes and the like to come crawling out the woodwork to play out their personal gripes.

Eamon is looking unhinged, and GB News and the mail had an awful reputation before all of this, so nothing has changed, it’s just been highlighted.

All this nonsense about Eamonn being a crap presenter because he doesn’t hold the ‘right’ political views. Get over yourselves. He’s a very good broadcaster. Don’t care for Dan Wootton or his tawdry show but GB News is fine and rather refreshing. At least they have people on with differing viewpoints and allow them to speak.

There was a petition from the public when QueGate happened, is there one for a safeguarding review of influencers and the crisis management/public relations sector on TV/social media?

I'm not sure I thought the same I'm a Labour supporter I used to listen to LBC in the car but it's gotten so mundane rehashing the same stuff. GB news is at least bonkers and entertaining I think it's here to stay.

Absolutely agree with this.

I found it hard to watch, I am disgusted by what Schofield has done but Eamonn came across as unhinged he was so vengeful.

They were like vultures.

Journo's need to let it go now and let the official investigation deal with it. I really do fear another Caroline Flack situation. For both PS and the young man.

It's all unsavoury.

The main news story is that ITV covered up a sordid and exploitative affair and accepts a culture of bullying because of ratings. The image projected by H&P was wholesome, light, bubbly and kind but the reality is a sordid machiavellian sex, drugs and bullying culture. It's fake and it's exploitative and possibly illegal (drugs and maybe under age grooming).

I don't personally think they can drag the show on for much longer. The image is destroyed. Which advertisers will want to continue? Which celebs would want to be involved?

Thoroughly dislike EA but I agree that doesn't necessarily make what he is saying untrue.

But soz ain't never going to watch a channel that Jacob Rees Mogg or Lawrence Fox lead on. Please. And let's face it, if they could be MSM they would.
