Ok I know I've spelt her surname wrong... but here we are. We all know who I'm talking about!

I just don't understand why social media has turned on her, almost blaiming her for allowing Phillip S antics to go on?

Why is she responsible for his actions????

And for those saying "she must've known"... maybe she didn't! Maybe she kept out of it or maybe she didn't know the full one and puts.
Why so she being Blaine's. Am I missing something??!

Willmafrockfit · 05/06/2023 10:55

@GoOnHoliday Im old enough to remember the incident with the teenager who phoned in to Going Live and told Five Star they were crap live on air.

I know This Morning is live but could there be a 30 to 60 second delay so viewers are up to a minute behind

Ha ha - this made me remember a caller to TM who was chatting away to Richard and Judy and when the call was being wound up, the caller asked Richard 'if your going to Sainsburys will you nick me a bottle of wine?'. This was after Richard had apparently walked out of a supermarket with a trolley full of shopping. He stated that he had a lot on his mind and genuinely forgot to pay. Of course he went back in and paid but there were lots of jokes made at his expense.

GoOnHoliday · 05/06/2023 12:13

Who wants fake?

Who wants enabling?

Did Martin write her statement?

porridgeisbae · 05/06/2023 12:16

If she didn’t know, that’s means she’s turned her back on her best friend, and isn’t sticking by him.

There comes a point where you can't stick by someone, you have to cut ties if you want to keep any of your reputation at all.

benfoldsfivefan · 05/06/2023 12:22

Sticking by him would mean the end of Brand Holly, a one-way ticket back to obscurity. No company would ever want to work with her.

Willmafrockfit · 05/06/2023 12:23

no one would want to stick by PS

Paul2023 · 05/06/2023 12:26

Let’s be frank. You have to be pretty ruthless to get to the top in the entertainment business, show business, call it what you will.
It’s not always about being nice to climb the greasy pole. Like anything in life , politics and business leaders.
Bosses of big companies have had to tread on people to get there. Same as Prime Ministers. They didn’t get the top job by being nice guys.

If people get somewhere in life because they know someone that can give them a leg up ,they’ll do it.No pun intended

Paul2023 · 05/06/2023 12:30

Above comment not aimed at anyone in particular, just a general observation.

midnightblue12 · 05/06/2023 12:31

Her speech made me feel really uncomfortable.
Partly because of felt so forced, partly because you could tel how nervous and stressed she was.
I think she is clearly very upset with PS and I just hope she can move on.

no one would want to stick by PS

I personally wouldn’t go no contact with someone I considered a good friend who has exercised really poor judgement but - as far as we know - done nothing illegal. But I understand why HW has dumped him.

Willmafrockfit · 05/06/2023 12:33

@benfoldsfivefan but so much spotlight on her now and baying for her blood, of course she is going to dump him

snowmanshoes · 05/06/2023 12:38

Let’s face it she needs to go. She should be in utter turmoil but no does had her holiday and appeared on tv all fresh faced. Jog on Holly

Paul2023 · 05/06/2023 12:43

Holly didn’t write that speech I guarantee.

I think that Hollys speech was written by ITV, to leave Schofield isolated and leave all the blame with him. So ITV can shun any responsibility.
And so the show can move on and leave PS to face the music on his own. ITV have literally got their barge pole out.

The management and Holly want 💰 and reputation.

Zipidydodah · 27/05/2023 21:10

Because people (especially women in MN) like to blame women for men’s actions. She ‘must have know’ - Wtf. The same as every wife / girlfriend who finds themselves married to a rapist/ paedophile …they must of known.
It’s fucking despicable

THIS THIS THIS!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Paul2023 · 05/06/2023 14:49

Well none of us know anything with what Holly knew or didn’t know about PS.

That’s the point. It may well be that she knew nothing. Or maybe she did know and advised PS that he was making a bad decision and didn’t agree with him. Other than that , what could she do? Maybe she couldn’t report him because, This Morning knew and didn’t want the reputation of the show compromised? He wasn’t doing anything illegals , so maybe she didn’t want to report him as he’s a friend? Who knows?

PS is about 20 years older than Holly. PS is a grown adult and capable of making his own decisions. So from one angle do I agree, what was she supposed to do ?

I could be completely wrong , but just saying that maybe I get why she was in an awkward position.

Maybe she distanced herself from PS when he told her about his brother ? Again , I don’t know

Treesandsheepeverywhere · 05/06/2023 14:52

For Holly not to have known, would mean being stupid.
The boy was everywhere with top brass. Late nights out, boat rides, taxi rides with Phil back to his etc.

Agree about Phil taking the fall for everyone as he's reputation was already tarnished, nearing retirement age, handsome payout....

If he knew she wasn't allowed to reply to his text, why write don't reply.

She's had many friendships go down the pan and she's the common denominator.

Viviennemary · 05/06/2023 15:04

Get lost Holly. I never fell for your fake persona.I dont like PS he is a smarmy but he has done nothing illegal.

Paul2023 · 05/06/2023 15:06

Indeed, maybe Holly knew and between her , Phil and ITV decided it’s best that Phil doesn’t take anyone down with him ?
He’s already lost everything anyway so no point in biting the hand that fed him ?
I suspect ITV gave Phil and a ‘gold watch ‘as a good will leaving present.
Thats normally how companies get rid of people who go ‘willingly ‘

Paul2023 · 05/06/2023 15:14

Or Holly did know as did ITV, and they all turned a blind eye until it came to the media.
Then closed ranks to save themselves.

If that’s the case then that’s appalling and just shows how horrible the entertainment industry is.

lollipoprainbow · 05/06/2023 17:19

Urgh get little miss fake out, surprised she didn't squeeze out some more tears for effect. Josie hugging her as if she is sooooo brave. Nice way to treat a friend that you said you would stand by forever. Her simpering sweetness doesn't cut it with me.

mysonsmother82 · 05/06/2023 18:30

I'm so confused by this story. If all PS has done is have an affair than why all the drama? (Just to add I have a 21yr old son and would not be happy at all if he slept with a 60 yr old) BUT 20/21 is an adult and they do as they please. What I don't understand is if that is it they had a affair then why is PS so sorry and all the rest of it paying for lawyers.. explain it to me what are the lawyers for? Not proud of it now but I had an affair in my early 20s nobody lost their job and hired lawyers??
As for Holly I really don't understand what she has done that's so wrong?? Even if she knew what was she supposed to do, and if I was in her position I'd want to keep hold of my job.
From what I've read the thing that PS did that is unforgivable is not speaking out to the police about his brother, no excuse for that.

Tidsleytiddy · 05/06/2023 18:37

I think it’s the fact that we now know the “friendship” between them was so fake. She is fake and we know for sure he’s a fake. The pair of them have ripped the piss out of viewers (I stopped watching when Richard and Judy left) but people do watch regularly and enjoy the show. The pair of them thought they were untouchable, especially him and for her turn up today and do the simpering little fake speech has got to be the final straw for people. Talk about knowing what side her bread’s buttered. Embarrassing and greedy. Let someone else have the job. Should’ve been sacked when they barged the queue for the Queen’s Lying in State.
