Did you have your child(ren) at age 39 or over? Looking for stories of hope

Feeling a bit low today when I think of never having a child. It probably will not happen for me but there's still a really small part of me that hopes it will still happen.

If you were around the 40 mark and it did happen for you, had you almost accepted it wouldn't happen?

Just looking for something positive to read today.

Lots of women at in DC’s year group and year above who must have had their first at 40 (and a few who must have been early/mid 40’s also) and a few who had a 3rd/4th at around 40.

Of course some of those who I know or am pretty certain were assisted but you can be 30 and need assistance. You’re nowhere near from being a lost cause.

Tried for 6 years, took Clomid, Nothing happened and decided against IVF. Conceived naturally and healthy babies born just before my 40th and 42nd birthdays.
