To think William should have made more effort

To learn that one line pledge to his father? He read from a card looking sideways most of the way through it, and he looked like he was bored and rushing through it. Looked terrible on screen.

I know he's lazy but it wasn't too much to ask for, was it - to memorise that line and at least fake a bit of sincerity?

Though to be honest we don't know if William had a teleprompter up in the ceiling at the concert, like they do at award ceremonies like the Oscars, Emmys, etc.

What ceiling? It was an outdoor concert!

@Bresia Some of the people on this thread are not fans of the RF, and the OP is a major critic of the RF and a staunch supporter of the Sussexes. It's why @michaelmacrae is always on RF board, criticising the RF over everything. As I said they will nitpick everything.

There are people who don't like H&M (like myself, purely because of their behaviour) however I don't give a flying fuck that Harry wore Dior or Meghan is too thin. More nitpicking nonsense.

I do care about lies, abuse and misuse of privilege on all sides.

I see my little sign was deleted.

As was blatantly obvious it wasn’t personal and although it contained a rude word, there are nitpickers at play here.

I apologise if anyone recognised themselves in that description and took offence at it enough to report it.

I forgot that we are only allowed to be poking fun at the rich and powerful.

ITA!
H&M wanted their privacy and should be given it.
I figured that @michaelmacrae was a member of the SS. Color me shocked that they spent so much time trying to nitpick every small thing and constantly criticize the RF.

I mean, talk about lazy.....🙄 The Hot Pockets and Red Bull brigade really have that sewn up.

Don’t try to pull me in on the anti Sussex bullshit - you Royal fans are all batshit..

ArcaneWireless · 08/05/2023 15:19

Now that is a sweeping statement right there.

I wonder if yours will stand?

michaelmacrae · 08/05/2023 15:20

H&M wanted their privacy and should be given it.

Tell that to the tabloids?
If Harry had kept his privacy and not turned up to the big corrie he would have been crucified for that as well.

I figured that@michaelmacraewas a member of the SS.

I'm a member of secret service? Grin

@michaelmacrae Oooh. Name calling me now? Thought you were above all that 😂

polkadotdalmation · 08/05/2023 15:29

And as for being on here all the time I've posted 7 times out of 385.

Excessive????

michaelmacrae · 08/05/2023 15:33

Not name calling. Describing.

'Describing' me as always on the RF board when I've demonstrated I've posted here a handful of times, is not describing, it's lies.

morningtoncrescent62 · 08/05/2023 15:42

If that adorable little choirboy (bet his mum was proud) could open the entire proceedings at the start with that wonderful, clear, steady voice, I'm sure William could have managed to learn his line.

Passthechocolatesplease · 08/05/2023 16:33

Are you a personal friend or colleague of Prince William, if not how come you know he’s lazy!
Do you know his personal itinerary every day, do you know what the schedule is in his diary, for this year, for next year. Do you know what he did yesterday, last week, last month?
No, you actually know nothing so why make such a stupid uneducated statement.

AskMeMore · 08/05/2023 16:54

We do not know if William is lazy. We do know he does very little Royal "work".

We know nothing of the sort.

PeachyPeachTrees · 08/05/2023 18:41

YANBU! it was one line. Cue card only for back up. He should have learnt 1 line and given King his eye contact. It can't be compared to anyone else as they had loads to say.

BubsysMum123 · 08/05/2023 18:44

Sorry if this sounds rude but I don’t know how you can all be parents and still have the time to waste on this ! Just respect that people have different opinions. I am unfollowing this thread!

Don't worry about sounding rude - no one else does.😂You are assuming that everyone on this site has small kids - or even has kids. They don't - that should help with your confusion.

Not rude to say people have differing opinions. You are rude to assume that all posters on this site are parents. You can search for the multiple threads on this topic to explain why if you didn’t realise this

Better get off here then and make the kids their dinner - er, no, they're all in their 20s...!!

Yes, mine must be hungry - unfortunately he lives an hour’s drive away.
