Mine is that Derren Brown’s dad was my swimming teacher when I was in primary school.

I was in the top set too, only time I’ve ever been any good at a sport!

My niece is married to the cousin of a well known comedian. The cousins are very close and the the comedian has included several stories from our family get togethers he has attended, in his act.

I know someone who taught guitar to one of the Mumfords.

My friend and I received a package from Morrissey in about 1984 after we sent him a card and some almonds via a radio station. He wrote the envelope himself, the worst writing I've ever seen 😂

In AA I have sat near, spoken to, listened to, held hands with and made a cup of tea for many a very famous person but that doesn't count because I can never talk about it 🤐

Frank Bruno held a door open for me at a health farm once. I said "Thank you" and he said "You're welcome".
He gave me a lovely smile and his voice was so deep and beautiful it felt as if it went into my bones. A real weak knee moment. :-)

I was at university with Baroness Louise Casey, (same year and course) Clifford T Ward's son and Will Carling's ex wife.

Chesney Hawkes called my DH a 'greedy bastard' at a curry buffet. He retaliated by asking if Chesney was 'still in the music business'.

In my previous job, a local fundraiser casually told me of his plans for a skydive with his nephew who worked in films and I 'may have heard of'.... Orlando Bloom. I moved on before it came to pass....

I spoke in a council meeting that was recorded by a local man who uploaded them onto his YouTube channel as a hobby. That recording was his most watched video on his channel and my speech was reported on by the BBC.

I was the model for Mary in a prominent church stained glass window. The resemblance is striking. I've not yet been to see it as the church is in another part of the country, but it's on my list of things to do, perhaps with DC. It was strangely comforting at the time, as it was during a particularly dark time of my early 20s when I was far from virginal or pure. It sort of felt like a little nod from God, that somewhere there was a better version of me waiting. I wonder now whether the artist thought it was a good piece of subversion, selecting a real life Mary Magdalene to represent the Mother of God.

My step mothers cousin's wife is David Cameron's sister. She's actually a very nice lady who vaguely said " my brother used to work on Parliament". At this point I had no idea who she was
