Mine is that Derren Brown’s dad was my swimming teacher when I was in primary school.

I had a song written about me when I was a teenager which became a huge hit in another country - non English language and not known outside that country.

30 years later the song is still played there in the summer and it's known as an old feelgood classic but is still loved because it's quite feel good. Whenever it comes on in a bar I feel myself blush at a couple of lyrics but NOBODY knows it is about me. I was underage when I met the guy and we had a 7 week summer romance.

It's actually available on Spotify too which is so weird.

Oh. One day, I didn't have anything to wear but had to go out on an errand. I threw on ill-matched garments and hoped to get away with it.

No. I was filmed. The film became part of a television intro which was shown daily in the area where I live. Sometimes people recognised me. I spoke to the people broadcasting the intro to try to get it stopped but they'd commissioned a firm who told them they had everyone's permission.

My friend was in Louboutin in London buying shoes for her wedding, and Kate Moss was in there at the same time. She helped choose between the final 2 pairs.

I made the front page of my local newspaper when I was about 7. Photo and story, but you can't tell it's me, as I was dressed as Paddington Bear as part of a Brownies production.
