Would you sleep with a male partner in women's underwear

Curious because of previous experience! What would you do if your partner said he liked wearing women's underwear (pants/stockings) and wanted to wear during sex? I said no thanks!
IABU - don't care if he wants to wear it/find it sexy

IANBU - keep it for solo wanking/eeeeewwww

It’s not just clothes, it’s a fetish. My ex husband had a fetish for latex, so I thought I’d indulge him and dress up even though it wasn’t my thing. It soon became every time we had sex, it was all about his fetish, I could have been anyone, his interest was in the clothing, not me. Indulging him just made him more and more selfish. It absolutely destroyed me, I felt completely used and it ended our marriage.
It is NOT just clothes.

Although I haven’t had this experience, I would get this sense about any fetish.

Its dysfunctional to need something other than a sexy partner and/or an imagination to get off.

JusthereforXmas · 18/04/2023 15:30

Maybe I'm old school but we are usually pantsless when making love (elsewise it gets in the way). There have been times we have left our tops on but usually underwear by design covers the necessary 'private' access ports.

I would be more confused about the practicalities of how he is going to wear my lacy thong while going to pound town rather than a moral objection (although I will be royally pissed if he damages them regardless of whose wearing it lol).

My DH did use to wear my clothes when we where the same size in our youthful days (things like my jeans, some dress shirts etc...). Honestly they fitted and looked better on him than any 'mens' clothes and no one ever questioned it. I doubt they even noticed, without seeing the brand name 'girl' on the label then black jeans are just black jeans, they just have more choice and fit nicer.

TedMullins · 18/04/2023 15:31

Personally for me it’s a turn on, as is men in makeup or women’s clothes. So yes I would. My partner does sometimes wear stockings as it’s something we both like, but it’s not every time we have sex. It depends on the man, though. My type is generally more effeminate men who looks good in that stuff, I’m not in huge muscly hairy stereotypically manly men, who I imagine would look very silly.

CampervanKween · 18/04/2023 15:33

I'm sorry but I would just find it hilarious 😂 🤣 not sexy at all.

Weird question to do a poll on, outside the sex topic.

Kinks are pretty individual, and there's no question of "reasonableness" between two consenting adults, particularly about something as innocuous as underwear. So I'm not sure what you are hoping to gain from this thread.

Other than a lot of kink shaming I guess. Hey ho maybe that's your kink...

I'm not kink shaming anyone

I got shamed by my ex for not being sufficiently into his kink. That he didn't tell me about for several years.

There was lots wrong with our sex life and I can't get over him making me feel that I was weird so I did the poll to help me put it in perspective. Which it has done.

naunet, mrsatwood, mrstp your posts all resonate with me, thank you

I said on my op....previous partner asked me (in fact made me feel like a prude for saying no), I just wanted to know if I was in the majority or not when I said no

If you're not new around here, you already know you're in that majority of mumsnetters who would despise this.

Very disingenuous of you, OP.

OK whatever. Thanks for your input

Completely fair to say no to something if it doesn't turn you on.

VincentVaguer · 18/04/2023 15:41

Apparently there's a Sex topic so you could ask for this to be moved there @Saladdressed

Next time stick to the right forum topic please.

thefamous5 · 18/04/2023 15:42

No.

I'd find it repulsive

LlynTegid · 18/04/2023 15:42

100% no but if both partners are happy and no one else sees, their choice.

No. And he would be cease to be my partner.

Huge red flag for Autogynephilia, a paraphilia I do not find attractive, want to indulge or even be around.

Comeohsavinglight · 18/04/2023 15:47

while going to pound town

What an absolutely revolting term for sex!

ShandaLear · 18/04/2023 15:48

if I saw my big Scottish 6’, 14 stone, hairy, bald, DP stuffed into a thong and a push up bra they’d have to take me to hospital for uncontrollable laughter 😂 No, that would be a very tough shag, and I don’t think I’d ever be able to look at him the same way ever again.

Are you forum-placement shaming @CuriousMoo ?

SallyWD · 18/04/2023 15:50

I'm very open minded but it would put me off to be honest. I briefly dated a man who liked wearing women's clothing. He used to wear stockings or a sexy dress and get extremely sexually aroused. I just could never understand it.

MaryJean87 · 18/04/2023 15:51

No way.

Lockheart · 18/04/2023 15:51

Good grief, can we end all this nonsense about "if men want to wear women's underwear they must be trans and perverts"?

I thought we were pushing back on the idea that the clothes you wear define your gender identity. A man wearing a skirt or a bra is still a man. Let clothes be clothes.

EasterBreak · 18/04/2023 15:51

Would make me dry up fast that would. Defo a no.

If they’re wearing it because it gets them off then it’s not just clothing, it’s a sexual fetish.

Total deal breaker for me.
I would consider leaving if that was his fetish

Me too
