Some people have desires, kinks, fetishes that are not compatible with their partners and turn them off.

If you accept that someone is into X fetish and there's nothing wrong with it then you should also accept that if someone is completely turned off by that fetish and that there's nothing wrong with that either.

To be turned off by something is just as natural and instinctual as it is to be turned on by something so to claim that people are being close-minded is as I said 'close minded'.
