For going out the front of a premiere inn, in my plad pjs ! Am I really ?! There was no1 around, I put a long cardigan over the top of them!

I don’t smoke or vape
I wouldn’t ever go out in my pjs

but as long as not harming anyone or bothering anyone - then each to their own

Not even to let the dog out for a wee?

I've done it at all times of night, into the early morning. I sleep naked too, so its either a dressing gown or a large coat, once recently (although a small hotel, and the back door) in a giant stitch hoodie, similar to those oodies that were all the rage this last winter. I have no shame. Oddly though I'll get fully dressed to go for a smoke.

I would think it was slobbish if I saw you but if I was you I’d still do it.

When I was younger and smoked I would have done this without a 2nd thought.

Now if I still smoked then I’d put my day clothes on first, as I assume you’d do that once you got back anyway.

I think I would have quickly pulled on last night's clothes to go out for a vape (more out of a misplaced sense of decorum than anything else).
But I would have been delighted to see you out there and we would probably have struck up a nice conversation.

I wouldn't judge anyone for vaping outside a premier inn in their PJs. But then I've never spent more than £100 quid on any item of clothing, including my winter coats so I probably count as a chav on mumsnet.

Although, having said that, I did spend £200 on my long riding boots, about 25 years ago. This may put me back in the MN club. I'm not sure.

OP as long as your vape doesn't blow out clouds and is a little vape with little steam just do it in the room. I've got one of those skinny vapes which hardly anything comes out. Just do it in the room and blow it downwards. I do it all the time. Or just hold it in a bit longer until no smoke comes out.

No need to go outside (unless you've got kids with you) or just blow it out the window.

If you've got one of those huge grenade looking devices it does. But a normal small vape won't. I've vaped in hotels / toilets many times. It's absolutely fine.

Yes I'd judge you for that. If you were about to get up anyway then it would have taken very little time for a quick shower and to get dressed.

I had an awful night with the dog in one Travelodge which meant I had to take him out for a wee every 2 hours. I put on proper clothes each time.

My dog is only small but she would not be up for this. I've definitely been known to take the dog for a quick walk in pyjamas and snow boots in winter. 😄

You do realise that other guests will have to check into your room where you have stunk it out? Even allowing for cleaning time, it will still smell.

As I said, if it's a vape that produces those huge smoke clouds and leaves a fog around yes. But if you have a small vape with minimal smoke, it won't.
