I get a lash lift every 6ish weeks and my nails done when I'm off work.

I get an expensive (£210) treatment on my hair twice a year that makes it much easier to manage.

That's it but my DP thinks it's excessive?!

I really don't think it is? What do you get?

I used to have the occasional hair cut and colour.
Then DH and I sat down and had a discussion we both work in senior (in his case very senior) management roles earning good money, why shouldn't I indulge myself a bit.
Nails - £360 for 8 sets of gels (loyalty plan)
Hair - cut and colour every 10 weeks £122
Hair - straighten twice a year -£210.

Those gels are expensive?

bluesky45 · 07/04/2023 00:57

I get my hair cut every 2-3 months. It's £30 and takes half an hour. That's it.

QueenMegan · 07/04/2023 00:57

Hair twice a year cut and colour £95

Every three months
Waxing lip brow chin
Gels manicure
Eyelash brow tint and lift
£95

I wear no makeup only vaseline
Buy all my clothes from charity shops or vinted so zero guilt

Botox £185 only had it once but helped my headaches so might move this onto health 😅

I'll have lip filler too. I'll have it again. More massages if I.had time.

I work hard and if it makes me feel good ill do it. Op you should go on a nice spa week.

keffie12 · 07/04/2023 01:10

Hairdressers every 7-8 weeks for trim and colour £100

Reflexology every 4 weeks

Reflexology and Indian head massage every 8 weeks £75

£100 per year eyebrow tattooing touch-up.

£19.99 per month for beauty prescription based tretnoin for the anti ageing

I used to have facials and waxing regularly. I do them now myself at home with my once a week pamper evening

Notsa · 07/04/2023 01:15

Nothing at the moment but I turn 40 this year so unlikely to get away with being so low maintenance for much longer 😭

MrsDrDear · 07/04/2023 01:18

I had a haircut 8 months ago, maybe I'm due for a trim.

Nothing else. I'll pluck my brows that's it. Nothing to do with money, I just couldn't be arsed sitting in a salon.

Somebody bought me a spa day once, it was hell. Spending 7 hours getting treatments, most boring day of my life.

I think the only thing I enjoyed was a dry flotation tank, best nap ever.

sanityisamyth · 07/04/2023 03:47

None. It's been over 2 years since I had my hair cut.

BoxOfCats · 07/04/2023 05:17

Brow wax every 5 weeks
Cut & colour every 7 weeks
Botox every 3 months

Missingthegore · 07/04/2023 05:39

Pedicure with polish $40 - my cuticles are horrendous and I don't manage them well myself so this deals with it
Waxing - brow and lash tint, lip/ chin, half leg and bikini every 5 weeks, I wear skirts and dresses in winter without tights so keep it up....really should look at IPL $110
Haircut and half head highlights every 3-4 months $170
Massage $90 every 2 months or so when I have an ADO
I don't wear make-up but slap some CC cream on most days I have to work.

Iamclearlyamug · 07/04/2023 14:55

Nails and lashes every 3 weeks, hair coloured every 6 weeks.

Would love to have my hair chemically straightened but the cost is prohibitive when I don't know how good the result would be 🤦‍♀️

Orangebadger · 07/04/2023 14:59

Hair cut every 3/4 months.
Hair colour should be every 4 weeks but push it to 6 weeks.
The very very occasional facial, eye brow tint, pedi. But usual once a year when I remember!

Gooseysgirl · 07/04/2023 15:01

Brow and lip wax every four weeks, shortly having first hair cut in over a year. Nothing else, can no longer afford it.

CeriB82 · 07/04/2023 16:28

Wet cut once a year £24

nails every 3 weeks at £30 (my other tech came to me for £15, a real bargain!)

i colour my own hair every 2-3 moat £6 a box.

i dont tint my brows as it irritates my skin so i use a brow definer, and i pluck them too.

i also wax my own chin and lips.

StinkerTroll · 07/04/2023 16:30

Hair cut every 4 weeks (I end up looking like a bog brush if I don't..... I wish I were joking!) £36 and eyebrows threaded every 4 weeks £7.

Happyasalamb · 07/04/2023 17:21

Haircut and colour every 6 weeks £30
Fat dissolving injections every three to four weeks £100 (started three sessions ago)
Botox every three months £140

VanGoghsDog · 07/04/2023 17:28

I get my hair cut four times a year, and two of those times I have highlights.

Other than that, nothing regular. If I think of it I book the occasional facial if I'm off work for any reason.

Never had anything done to lashes or brows. Don't get nails done. Wouldn't have Botox etc.

Wtfisthis1 · 07/04/2023 17:28

I never want to spend the money!
Have my hair cut about once every 6 months at like £45 and that’s it! Would like nails but they’re expensive and ruin your nails underneath. Would love Botox but am a bit scared of it and couldn’t afford it!

Bienemajas · 07/04/2023 17:30

Aren't nails healthier if left alone, rather than constantly covered in paint? I'm surprised how regularly some of you have your nails painted Shock
