I get a lash lift every 6ish weeks and my nails done when I'm off work.

I get an expensive (£210) treatment on my hair twice a year that makes it much easier to manage.

That's it but my DP thinks it's excessive?!

I really don't think it is? What do you get?

whiteonesugar · 06/04/2023 14:40

Nails every 3 weeks - £28
Eyebrows every other month ish - £12
waxing and pedi before holidays so once a year
hair every couple of months or so - £100 (mates rates)
botox every 3-4 months - £225

that’s it. It looks a lot but it makes me happy so why not.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 06/04/2023 14:43

Hair cut and coloured every 5 weeks

TheWonderfulThingAboutTiggers · 06/04/2023 14:43

I think I'm the opposite of anon here. As I've got into my 30s(now 40s) I'm far less worried about these things and don't really do anything other than a haircut. It's very freeing!

OhSnakesandBastards · 06/04/2023 14:53

Eyebrow wax every 4 weeks
Lashes every 3 weeks
Microblading 2 years ago & don't need a top up yet
Hair colour every 8 weeks & a hair cut every 16

I do my own gel nails every 2 weeks & my own waxing (can't risk doing it myself near my eyes though!)

Meandfour · 06/04/2023 14:57

Nails and brows every 3 weeks
Pedi, gel toes and lash lift every 6 weeks
Massage & facial once a month
Haircut every 6 weeks
Highlights every 12 weeks

OhSmitty · 06/04/2023 15:01

My regular treatments are:
Lash lift and HD brows every 6weeks £40
Roots and blow-dry every 3 weeks £30
Brazilian wax every 7 weeks £28

I'll also have a cut and highlights twice a year at £65 and a massage every 4-6 months at £30-£60. I also have a luxury pedicure with a chiropodist (no polish) every 4 months at £50. I do my own nails, I bought a job lot of Sally Hanson polishes from ebay for around £25 so I have more colours than I know what to do with. I also do my own facials at home. I love a good pamper.

RuthW · 06/04/2023 15:08

Haircut every 6 weeks

PrincessHoneysuckle · 06/04/2023 15:11

Botox 3 times.a year.
Lip filler once a year.
Tear trough filler once a year.
Hair cut 3 times a year.

Smoky1107 · 06/04/2023 15:11

Nails every 3 weeks - £30
Hair every six weeks - £15
Eyebrows waxed every 12 weeks - £5

FuckingHateRats · 06/04/2023 15:12

I alternate my roots (£40) and a cut and colour (£65) every five or six weeks.

Do my own gel manicure and pedicure.

MajorCarolDanvers · 06/04/2023 15:13

Hair cut a couple of times a year

Nothing else

Apairofsparklingeyes · 06/04/2023 15:21

A haircut every few months but nothing else. My hair is completely white now so I get offered a lot of senior discounts!

BeatriceFranklin · 06/04/2023 15:21

Nails and builder gel every 3 weeks, pedicure and gel polish every 6 weeks, lash lift every 8 weeks, lash extension infill every 4 weeks, brows threaded every 6 weeks, roots every 6-8 weeks, highlights refresh every second hair appointment, botox and fillers yearly. I go for a flotation tank every couple of months and have a deep tissue massage every 8 weeks or some times more.

Floralnomad · 06/04/2023 15:24

I get my hair trimmed about once a year - £25 ish
I don’t grow body hair , have never dyed my hair so have now gone a natural grey blonde and don’t like having painted nails .

katienana · 06/04/2023 15:24

Hair cut and colour every 6-8 weeks £65
Eyebrows tint and thread every 4-6 weeks £30
Go through phases of getting my nails done, but that's every 3 weeks if I'm getting them done £20
If going on holiday I'd get my bikini line waxed and I get a facial now and then for a treat. Got a lash lift last year but I don't think it made a big impact for me.

ChaToilLeam · 06/04/2023 15:29

Haircut 4 x a year. That’s it.

No waxing, i just shave my legs. I do my own manicures/pedicures, no gels, no facials, no Botox, no fillers. I hate massages so none of them either. A little eyebrow tweezing, no threading or micro blading. No eyelash extensions, just mascara. No fake tan. No lasers. I generally don’t like beauty treatments, I don’t even like having my hair washed by someone else.

How do you all afford it? It must cost an absolute fortune! Though I’m sure the results are good. I just don’t like being touched by others and can’t be bothered with all the appointments.

specialk9 · 06/04/2023 15:36

I have my eyebrows tattooed every 18m
I have my hair chemically straightened every 9m
I have botox every 4m
I have a facial & massage every 3m
I have my hair cut & coloured every 3m
I have false eyelashes redone every 1m
I have my nails done every 3w

😬

AlltheFs · 06/04/2023 15:45

Only haircut/colour every 10 weeks. I have never had the need for anything else. But I have natural good lashes and eyebrows and not in to nails. I have had the occasional spa day obviously but nothing regular.

I do have physio and chiropractic treatments but that’s for pain management rather than beauty.

TeaMistress · 06/04/2023 15:47

Waxing every 7 weeks or so and mani / pedi once a month. I see it as essential maintenance.

purplecorkheart · 06/04/2023 15:48

Nails every three weeks. I get my hair cut and coloured every six weeks. I go for a facial maybe 4 times a year. I used to get weekly blow dry on a Friday in my lunchbreak but the salon I used to go to has closed and the others near my work place are way too expensive to do it weekly although I will go if I have a night out planned but try and book in with the trainee as it is much cheaper and just as good.

Strugglingtodomybest · 06/04/2023 15:50

Hair cut twice a year and a massage once a month if I remember to book it. Not sure that the massage is a beauty treatment though!

GlamGiraffe · 06/04/2023 15:51

Botox once a year
Filler every 2 years
Hair cut only once a year as I can't be bothered and highlighted similarly if at all
Occasionally paint own nails
Nothing else

PogoThePunk · 06/04/2023 15:55

I go to the hairdresser every 3 weeks for my hair cutting, otherwise nothing.

Fairislefandango · 06/04/2023 15:55

I can't imagine spending that much money or effort on my appearance, however much money I actually had! If I had it to spare, I think I'd be more inclined to spend it on things which would improve my looks on a more inherent rather than cosmetic level - like joining a fancy gym, having a personal trainer or having an expensively fancy healthy diet! Might go for massages though.
