Me?

Blair. Brown, first bit of Cameron.

On paper I earn more money now but everything's tits up isn't it? From the economy to shit on beaches to being able to get access to the NHS when needed.

Harold Wilson. Although, I remember celebrating when Tony Blair won in 1997.

ISpyCobraKai · 29/03/2023 22:48

Tony Blair.

Margaret Thatcher. I was a young doctor, bought my own detached house on a v affordable mortgage, travelled abroad for the first time, DH was still alive, and the future looked great. Little did I know I was going to be widowed young with two babies and face 30 years of grieving. Sigh.

MsJD · 29/03/2023 22:48

Harold Wilson. I was little and life was fun.😀

mowly77 · 29/03/2023 22:49

highintheskypurple · 29/03/2023 22:50

Tony Blair, I don't get the hate. I felt safe in government at that time. Lost faith with David Cameron and it got worse from there.

HelloBunny · 29/03/2023 22:50

Tony Blair. Lived in London. Was in my early 20s. Had a laugh! Life was good.

Rainbowshit · 29/03/2023 22:51

Blair - people had hope then and politicians still kept up the pretence that they gave a shit about the common good.

VestaTilley · 29/03/2023 22:54

Tony Blair. Hands down.

The 1997 - 2001 Government was bloody incredible. I miss it every day.

And I miss the Labour Party of those days too.

(my life has been horrendous, I'm finally on my feet and thriving even though the world is falling apart, but I can't control what I can't control)

Blair. I was 21, paid £250 a month rent for a flat share in South London. Brilliant times. Everyone was loving life
