Me?

Blair. Brown, first bit of Cameron.

On paper I earn more money now but everything's tits up isn't it? From the economy to shit on beaches to being able to get access to the NHS when needed.

Cameron, in the coalition years. I think it’s correlation rather than causation though.

Puppers · 29/03/2023 22:58

Blair/Brown. No contest.

WordtoYoMumma · 29/03/2023 22:58

Blair. Money in family and disability services was wonderful

ClareBlue · 29/03/2023 22:58

All those saying Blair were presumably not sent to kill and bomb innocent people in an illegal war. But, hey, everything good and fun at home so who cares.

PaigeMatthews · 29/03/2023 22:58

Gordon Brown

DrHousecuredme · 29/03/2023 22:58

Tony Blair

SocksAndTheCity · 29/03/2023 22:58

Tony Blair. I did like John Smith though, and I wish he'd got the chance to have a crack at it.

Liz Truss for sure. Those were a few great weeks for me.

Lol 😂

soddingspiderseason · 29/03/2023 23:00

Blair, then Brown. I do miss having capable adults in charge of this country.

DaysofHoney · 29/03/2023 23:00

Great question.

Early Cameron, Blair… ish.

Could very much be due to my stage of life though. But certainly the last few years have been a shit show.

AliTheMinx · 29/03/2023 23:00

Tony Blair

Highlyflavouredgravy · 29/03/2023 23:00

Tony Blair.
His government eeally made excellent contributiobs to education, health and social care.
It has all been downhill since.

Crispynoodle · 29/03/2023 23:01

Blair for me too worked in the NHS had a great salary loads of time for updating and training never felt understaffed or undervalued

Chowtime · 29/03/2023 23:01

Blair.

He donated all the royalties from his autobiography to The Royal British Legion.

Train007 · 29/03/2023 23:01

Thatcher …gave me a good reason to go to Oz for a few years to escape!

timetorefresh · 29/03/2023 23:01

Blair/Brown they seemed to know what they were doing even if they weren't full of charisma or whatever Boris was meant to have... absolute tosser.

Infracat · 29/03/2023 23:01

Tony Blair

GoChasingWaterfalls · 29/03/2023 23:01

Definitely Blair for me. Housing was cheap. Loads of job opportunities. The country felt like a cool place to be.

gegs73 · 29/03/2023 23:02

Blair/Brown

The only Iraqi person I knew at the time had fled the country in fear for his life and he was all for it.

gegs73 · 29/03/2023 23:03

To be fair it’s been one crisis after another since they left

Dogscanteatonions · 29/03/2023 23:03

Blair here too

GarlicGrace · 29/03/2023 23:03

Thatcher. I loathed everything about her and her government, but the capitalist bubble worked well for me at that time. I like Major, and think Blair's government did a great job. Pisses me off when people demean 10 years of courageous reform while moaning "But Iraq!" Yes, he took bad military advice. No, he wasn't a Tory.

Dirtydiesel · 29/03/2023 23:03

The late 90s so Blair.

I assume they also weren't on benefits with a disability either
