Also I class any information my child receives in school as part of education. Trans information/education falls under SPHE education & should not be part of the curriculum.

To be fair, if it was staff in Wilson's Hospital school that instigated the They/Them pronouns, not the child/their family (which seems to be what's being reported now) then that is concerning and a clear over reach from the school.

Im no fan of Enoch or any of the Burkes for that matter, but the issue seems to have been very badly handled by the principal also.

I only heard of the Countess this morning. It only has less than 1,600 fb followers which is tiny percentage given the size of our population so it's obviously not mainstream but needs to be. It looks like a very pro active organisation

The Countess has been doing sterling work for years now, but it needs to hit mainstream press before most people pay attention. Which is why it's great to see Newstalk take up the mantle.

I would fully support the Countess or similar groups coming into the schools from primary level up but obviously wouldn't fit the government agenda 🙄
