As I've said, I'm no fan of Burke's, but we know now that the head misrepresented events, so I don't think anyone here can have any confidence they have the full story.

At least they have 'sex' as a specific protected characteristic in their Equality laws, ours just says 'gender'. And since you can be whatever gender you like it's a bit ridiculous.
Sex is however specifically mentioned in relation to GRCs, making even less sense -
