To stop doing DH's washing til he learns to wipe his arse?!

AtTheEndOfMyWick · 22/03/2023 07:48

DH and I have a pretty even split of household chores, washing is my job as 1) he doesn't know how to do it and 2) I actually quite enjoy it (until it comes to putting clean clothes away but that's another story...)

We have 3 DC, ages 2, 4 and 6. So doing the washing for everyone is a pretty full on job. DH seems incapable of two things which make it harder for me - firstly he rarely empties his pockets, which I've warned him about so many times.

But the second thing- I have no idea how to approach with him. He has the world's worst skid marks in every single pair of boxers. I just don't understand. Our 2 eldest kids appear to be better at wiping their arsed than he is. It seems to have gotten worse in recent months and its at the point now where I'm sometimes greeted by inside out shit smeared undies when I open the laundry basket, and almost throw up.

Needless to say I've got a case of the ick and can't imagine doing anything close to sex with him as it stands. The whole thing just turns my stomach and I'm sick of it.

What do I do?! How do I approach this with him? Honestly at my wit's end.

Dirty Get. I wouldn't touch his shitty indies. And I certainly wouldn't let him anywhere near my vagina 🤮

Every time I read a post like this, I am so glad I live alone.

Same here. It's repulsive 🤮

Do you have sex with this disgusting entitled turd-lord

😂 ‘turd-lord’

pregnantwoes · 22/03/2023 15:30

Unless he's ill there is absolutely no reason why a grown man should have shit in his pants.

Every day I read stuff on here which makes me super grateful for my DH who can't go for a poo unless we have "bum wipes" (Andrex or own brand washlets) 😂

waterlego · 22/03/2023 15:35

Posts about possible illness and embarrassment are missing the (skid) mark.

I helped to look after my mum when she had stomach cancer. There were a lot of accidents; stomach cancer ain’t pretty. But Mum wouldn’t have dreamt of just wordlessly leaving soiled underwear, clothes or bedding for someone else to sort out. In the earlier stages of her illness, she sorted those things out herself. Later on when she was frail and less mobile, she would apologetically explain what had happened and ask for help in sorting it out. (Of course apologies were not required, but she was just acknowledging that dealing with other people’s mess isn’t particularly pleasant).

Goodread1 · 22/03/2023 15:39

Why don't you just give him Advice on how to effectively keep himself clean and wash his dirty kegs properly,?💩💩🙈

fingers crossed 🤞 hopefully a Bonus end to this particular issue properly.

Unless of course its medical issue problem,
Obviously he needs to vist the Doctors to use out that,

I was going to post a similar thread to this! All of my boyfriends / male flatmates have left skid marks in their boxers that I’ve noticed when I’m doing washing 🤮 why can men not wipe their arses properly? I don’t understand!

monsteramunch · 22/03/2023 15:47

@Cerealkillerontheloose

No. But maybe he’s embarrassed?

So embarrassed that he does nothing to hide the skid marks and leaves them for his wife to deal with?

Come on now...

Iwrotethelyricstoaxlf · 22/03/2023 15:55

This is reminiscent of the poo crumbs thread. The op on there came back years later to advise she’s dumped the shitty arsed fecker and found a lovely chap with a gleaming ring.

@AtTheEndOfMyWick theres no need for him to leave you his shitty kecks.

Stuff his pillow with them.

Supernova23 · 22/03/2023 16:30

What on earth have a just read? stuff like this makes me so glad I am single, absolutely no way would I ever be washing a mans skiddy pants. That is absolutely foul. Assuming he isn't ill or disabled, why is a GROWN MAN not able to wipe his own backside properly? and why are you doing his washing? you aren't his mother. If there was any sexual attraction there before, there certainly wouldn't be after the skiddies.

Why are you doing their laundry?? Give yourself a shake woman, for god's sake.

He's the only one making a big deal of his discharge.
By displaying it in a communal laundry bin, for his wife to cope with.

If he's not embarrassed about that, I don't see why he'd be embarrassed to be told to stop doing it.

OR why you are focused on his embarrassment instead of OP's disgust & his total lack of respect to her.

I'm not?

Being kind to your husband doesn't mean putting up with everything. There are ways to say things.

Do you have a partner/husband? Do you speak to him like crap? Without knowing why he has skid marks (he may not even notice) then why go gung ho and upset your loved ones? Better to ask sensitively and then act accordingly. That's my experience in a nearly 20 year relationship, anyway. (And no my husband does leave skid marks and yes, we equally treat each other kindly).

Why in the holy fuck were you washing your boyfriend and his male housemates’ shitty pants? I really hope you didn’t have a mistaken belief that it made you look like winning wife material, you must have been off your rocker.

Doesthepopeshitinthewoods · 22/03/2023 16:43

Oh, your boyfriends’ and your male flat mates’ pants*

I think many do wipe well. But I wonder whether bum hair affects it.

I mean, I have some poos that wipe clean from the get go. I then have others that require a lot of wiping and even then it's not a clean finish. That's the reality of pooping.

Add in a load of thick hair, it's probably harder? I don't know, just guessing.

"I'm so embarrassed that the only solution is to turn my filthy kecks poo-side up, & put them in the family shared laundry bin, for my wife to deal with."

If he were embarrassed, he'd deal with the problem discreetly, himself.

Why are you doing your boyfriends' & flatmates' laundry?
That's far harder to understand than why some men are filthy fuckers.

Why on god's green earth are you washing the underwear of male flatmates? That is absolutely demeaning.

Jesus.

How sensitive & kind is is to fill your pants with shit, turn them shit-side up, put them in with your wife & kids' blameless laundry, & expect your wife to cope with scraping your shit for you?

Of course he bloody notices. Unless he has severe visual problems, there is nothing stopping him from seeing the inside of his own pants.

Disrespectful people who expect others to clean their literal shit up for them do not deserve sensitivity & kindness. They need the fucking riot act read to them.
