To think Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t have a ‘wellness routine’

She has an eating disorder?

she’s given an interview saying her ‘wellness’ typical day consists of an early Palo dinner of vegetables then a fast til noon the next day ( with coffee only in the morning) when she has bone broth. Repeat.
she then takes IV drips for the nutrients that she’s essentially NOT getting from food, as she’s barely eating.

HOW is this wellness - it’s a starvation routine. How is this in a wellness podcast?

really irresponsible of media outlets to publish that and call it wellness

Agree. She is eating disordered and doesn’t even look well. It is a starvation diet and insane. “I take detox seriously.” She is a disordered profiteer.

Now I know the Apple Big Brother is spying on me… Boy was this perfectly timed. Popped into my FB feed.
Celebrity Diet

Excellent 😄

I think she looks incredible (although not in that podcast) and he cook books are actually really good. At least she is honest about what she does, in terms of injectables and lasers etc and the work she puts into maintaining her body
I also don't think she takes herself that seriously

She's a grifter. Just because it comes in a sparkly celebrity package doesn't make it any less of a grift.

Bone broth is loved by dieters because the protein makes you feel satiated without many calories.

Yeah they latched on old style gut calming, nutritious delicious thing (like usual) so half a western world now knows it only for that sadly.

Cheesuswithallama · 15/03/2023 14:35

I am waiting for them to come for sauerkraut

I agree, that is so unhealthy - that is not self care

Cabbage water is not nutritious, not in a complete sense.Where are the healthy carbs, protein and fats that the body needs?

Im not sure I said it was in a complete sense!

I was making the point that in those days that was the version of what you see today probably in supermodel circles.

sauerkraut is old hat now, along with fermented anything these days!

There is an irony in rich people re-purposing traditionally 'poor' people's foods that were used to sate appetite for those with low incomes to lose weight

She looks older than her real age.
I wouldn't like to look like that.
She looks tired, hungry and wizened.
This diet of hers is horseshit and it's not safe.

Oblomov23 · 15/03/2023 14:52

Blimey. Worrying.

But people are misquoting her. she does say she has early dinner, lots of veg. She doesn't say she only eats veg.

I wish they did sell proper bone broth in the supermarkets. I think they do in america. Its full of protein and I have cooked it once but I cant honestly be bothered.

Someone mentioned a slow cooker but anytime Ive cooked meat on the bone in our slow cooker it just crumbles bone into the dish/stew or whatever, repulsive.

Borough bone broth is the best I have found but it doesn't come close to homemade.

I expect she eats vegetables and steamed fish every night, Victoria Beckham style. Bet she hasn’t eaten a carb in 25 years.

Interesting that she spoke about her “detox”. Gwynnie, you’ve been Gooping and detoxing for a long time now, what are you detoxing from? Calories?

She hardly looks wizened.

Tbh lots of situations are like that. Lots of food considered wanky and MC in UK is actually poor people's food in other countries.

Rebel2 · 15/03/2023 15:13

I get the fasting but yeah broth isn't a meal
I don't eat after tea so maybe 7pm- 2pm without food
Not unwell though and definitely not thin!

Basketballqueen · 15/03/2023 16:58

Even if she eats a bit of fish or meat with some veg for dinner - that’s still only eating one meal a day. Then banging on about. Ring an ‘early adopter’ of IVs

IBelieveInAThingCalledScience · 15/03/2023 17:12

Same Gwyneth who used to have "alkaline" water and add a few drops of lemon juice (thus annulling its alkalinity)?

She also seems to have missed the memo about the liver and its function.

Theluggage15 · 15/03/2023 17:29

She is a weirdo and her diet is the opposite of wellness. I’ve never thought she’s attractive and she looks far older than her age. Frustrating that her hang ups are given a platform

BigMandsTattooPortfolio · 15/03/2023 17:36

Gwynnie has now started blithering on about something called ‘rectal ozone therapy’. Is there nothing she won’t shove up her nether regions? Surely the world has long tired of her obsession with her own cavities?

MyBrotherIsATit · 15/03/2023 17:38

She says she has a soup, plus a paleo meal with lots of vegetables. Surely she means a balanced meal with no processed foods, not just a plate of vegetables.

NotJohnWick · 15/03/2023 17:50

I've had a horrendous stomach bug and I've not eaten I'm 3 days, I have a pounding headache and my lips are cracked and dry. Is there a bone broth I could buy on Ocado that would make me feel nourished without hurting my poor stomach?

They generally have Daylesford chicken bone broth (it's honestly just chicken stock).
