To just leave this training now and die of shame?

I'm on a work training event. It's casual dress so I'm wearing black leggings. Anyway... just gone to the loo on lunch break and discovered that I've been walking around this morning and in the canteen area with a hole in the bum of my leggings! Not a tiny hole either - it's sort of medium ish. Very obvious. I feel utterly ashamed and to think of how many people this morning have caught a glimpse of my arse and not told me!? I've turned my leggings around in the loos as I can sort of cover the hole at the front but oh my god. I want to die of shame. Do I style this out or just walk out and go home now? 🫣

How mortifying, I bet no one cared though op.
I once tripped on the railway crossing and my shoe come off, then the barriers came down before I could retrieve said shoe. Imagine the embarrassment watching the train come past and decimate my shoe, I shamefully picked it up once the barriers went back up and hobbled off back to work with one shoe on. The shame 😂

So how was the training for people with disabilities? Or were they excluded?

I assume OP you are now back home and relieved.

Were you there to see people with disabilities actively excluded? Do you work with the OP to know there were people with disabilities actively excluded? Do you have anything at all on which to base this comment or are you just being goady for the sake of it?

I don't understand all the "oh god no, leggings with a long top only!" You're all showing your middle aged-ness.

This is what marker pens are for. Colour in your bumper through the hole for now. I'd guess everyone's seen it now. My bottom popped off during an interview just as I concluded and stood up to shake hands. Pinged right off onto the desk. I owned it.

I agree turn your tights/leggings. Say at first opportunity that perhaps someone could have informed you - say with a smile.
Perhaps not a great choice wearing tights leggings in a work situation.

BC (before Covid) I was leading a workshop wearing nice trousers with a thin belt. Top tucked in. In break went to the loo then took a call and hurried back.

I walked in front of the class talk for a bit and then sit down only to notice belt undone!!

Completely open no wonder people stared at my tummy.

Had to do the belt discretely but then no choice carried on for rest of two days 🙈

Not the same level of embarrassment but I went to work with a big hole in my black tights, i got a black sharpie and coloured in the patch of leg that was on show 😂

Has anybody seen that psychology short film of "man in gorilla suit" you basically are told to check how many times a red or blue ball was tossed or something like that, this distracts you and when the film is finished the tutor asked you if anyone saw the gorilla. No one did. When the film started it was so obvious....people may well have been concentrating on the course so hopefully your exposure was not noticed....

Leggings should never be worn with a top that doesn't cover your arse, unless in the gym.

Sorry but this is so funny and has happened to be before, also top inside out! I would just say loudly with friends 'no holes today'. Also, in this self obsessed world and everyone being glued to phones, could be no one really noticed? If they did, gair enough, we all make mistakes but the fact no one has let u know can be taken as a positive! Just take it as a lesson learnt and a fun story to tell, in a year's time it will just be that. X
