Flowers is amazing? I keep watching the video and thinking she's fabulous. I've never liked her before but this is wonderful!

I think she basically just does what she wants and likes and society is really uncomfortable with a woman doing that.

I mean, I’m pretty uncomfortable with it but then I can choose to not watch videos/interviews etc. She seems to like wearing very few clothes, gyrating, being a bit provocative or just sometimes plain out being a bit gross.

I don’t think she’s putting it on, I thinks that’s just who she is and she’s ok with that. Good for her really.

Seriously. Also what is her thing saying she’ll always love him even in the midst of a divorce? Overly attached ex wife much? I’m sure she felt like that at the time. I know I did when my ex and I broke up but I sure as hell didn’t say that out loud. I was falling apart inside but determined to make it look like I was happy and ready to move on. Fuck that guy for breaking my heart! Miley’s got a really mentally unhealthy mindset about relationships too.

I haven’t watched her content in years. I watched her flowers video because I heard good things about it and I thought I would give her music another shot hoping she had matured. She clearly has not. I’m very comfortable with sexually confident women but I’m smart enough to see through the bullshit. I think society just realized that there’s more layers to things and while they might not be able to express it well in words they can feel it when someone is deeply unwell or has the wrong motives for something.

Yeah I get that to an extent but it’s been ten years now. She’s an adult congratulations! Does she want an award or something? She’s still acting like a young teen that just learned about the birds and the bees. No other celebrity gets this level of excuses and free passes that miley does. It’s really interesting.

I mean, she grew up famous and continues to be so. She’s not going to experience adulthood in the same way that the vast majority of people do, it’s never been modelled to her and frankly she doesn’t need to 🤷🏻‍♀️ Same goes for all the celebrities that have a similar existence.

On a personal level I don’t care whether someone chooses to present themselves in a highly sexualised way, but on a societal level I do think people are more likely to ‘forgive’ things they would otherwise find offensive if they consider the person doing it to be talented and find their creative output enjoyable.

I am not a fan of her voice apart from in her cover of “Jolene” on YouTube. I think she has a desperate and uneasy vibe about her and she clearly has no idea who she is or what she’s about. There’s nothing wrong with that because everyone struggles with that especially when young but it does mean she doesn’t appear genuine and she’s yet to find her style. I’m glad she’s matured through the deliberately controversial and out to shock stage though.

Hate the song because it’s so so over played now. First time I heard it. Heh ok it’s alright. Million time turns off radio.

The suits isnt actually the same one totally different years that was proven of one of those fact checker type sites. She also denied the claims that he cheated 14 times or whatever. His actually kept a pretty low profile while she was straight out into a boat with a new gf. Most people say the Cheated on tend to take a while before then more on where as the cheater jumps straight into new relationships. Wouldn’t surprise me if they had an open/swinging relationship anyway a lot of people do especially famous people.

No opinion of her as a person. Like Hannah Montana as a tv show but she’s as actor the show was made to like her. Hate wrecking ball and that Robbin thickle duet.

It's sad that this attitude still exists in 2023. Thrusting around in her bra and pants isn't and shouldn't be just for "the young" as in teenagers/early 20s and it's certainly not desperate,especially for someone with a body like hers, to be showing some skin!

Cher was 42 when she did the 'Turn back time' video, Madonna was 34/35 when she did the 'Erotica' album and Kylie was 32 when she did 'Spinning Around' wearing those gold hotpants!

All attractive strong women who have gone against the "women over 30 who wear sexy clothes/show some skin just look desperate" attitude and thank god for that!

Good on Mylie for continuing to go against the narrative that women over a certain age shouldn't be sexual or half naked in videos because it might make them look "desperate" ! Never happens to men.

She is a nepo baby though… yes she’s very talented and that’s why she still has a career after all this time, but it was her parents that got her through the door. There are plenty of equally or even more talented people who won’t ever get a chance because they can’t get that leg up that she had.

During her early twenties after breaking away from Hannah Montana she did. She hasn’t in more recent years. I think she has matured a lot. Someone referred to her doing drugs, she says she hasn’t for quite a while now. She is only in her undies in the latest video for a few frames, it’s not a video 100% writhing around being sexual. I love the dance sequence in the suit enjoying herself and dancing away. I love her raspy voice too. I like her now.
