I can’t believe it’s the last episode this weekend- I’ve scoured Netflix Prime and i player for an alternative fix with no avail
what am I going to watch now?

The White Lotus is absolutely glorious! I LOVED both series.

the French cop drama, Spiral which has already been mentioned is also excellent. As is the Swedish cop drama The Bridge.

I've just binge watched Snow Girl on Netflix, it's excellent- very dark and lots of twists- highly recommend!

I am usually majorly disappointed by BBC dramas, so have avoided this for years, despite everyone telling me to watch it.

Started a couple of weeks ago and watched the penultimate episode tonight. FUCKING AMAZING. Sarah Lancashire is just beyond.

Just started watching Kiri on Netflix now purely because she's in it.

I think Tommy will kill Claire. Catherine will be haunted by her final converstaion with her. Ryan will, I think, be involved in the final entrapment of Tommy somehow. I pray the lad will come good for Catherine.

I think Ryan is going to meet TLR to take revenge for his mum. Twice early in in the series he's said 'revenge is a dish best served cold' I think things won't go to plan and Ryan will end up in real danger.

I think Neil is definitely dodgy, maybe he'd even related to TLR and has orchestrated the whole thing with Ryan's visits. I don't think he 'bumped into' Clare by accident after all those years. He's been keeping close to her to get to Ryan and I think it's him who made sure Ryan found out TLR had moved prison and also gave him Ryan's gamer name.
Maybe Alison will be involved somehow in the final showdown and someone will try to attempt to get away in her truck not knowing about the issue with the clutch. Surely Darius will end up getting finally caught too?
I also want to know why Poppy won't take her coat off. Could be just a way she feels safe and ready to escape at a moments notice because of what her dad is like but I think it's going to be something more than that.

I can't wait. I hope its a satisfactory ending and we aren't left with alsorts of questions.

@Snakeskinbritches i think you really could be onto something with your Neil theory, I didn’t think it was just coincidence that he just bumped into Claire either after all those years either, and Catherine didn’t like him from the get go. She’s a good judge of character! Plus yes with the gaming thing, someone made a comment about both Ryan and Neil being very into gaming.

As soon as Neil bumped into Clare I thought he was dodge but initially assumed he was gonna fall off the wagon with drugs and bring her down.

You’re right that Ryan does keep repeating that phrase. I just hope Catherine doesn’t get hurt again. That scene of her being dragged up from the cellar is such great acting, whilst also v upsetting. I hope Ann discovers him somehow, becomes the hero and gives TLR a good kicking.

Or maybe it’s Catherine’s husband who uncovers something. Is put in a v dangerous situation with the Knev bros.

IMO Ryan will kill Tommy.
carherine will try to say it was her and sacrifice herself again but Alison will say it was her instead.

I think TLR will kill himself after forcing Ryan to choose who he wants (obviously granny) Catherine will beg TLR not too as she knows the guilt will destroy Ryan.

It’s a fan theory but not one that has been proved in the show itself.

I hope all the ‘Chekhov’s gun’ moments have their purpose - the Land Rover’s clutch, Poppy’s coat, Ryan’s revenge, etc. I hate it when writers don’t follow through on things like that.

Well TLR was keen to start a fire to take out himself or Ryan, so I think that he's going to give setting fire a go to take out Catherine's family. Maybe Alison is going to risk herself there. No idea who will die though.
The pharmacist is going to possibly get killed by the criminal gang but that will make the police realise he was somehow implicated in the death of the diazepam addict. Then maybe Anne will have to make a choice about using evidence that frees the controlling abusive husband or not

Thats not true - They have recorded ONE ending and some critics and bloggers have already seen it but are sworn to secrecy until the final episiode has ended.
