New mum in the mums group, seems a bit up her own bum about designer labels and clothes etc. She’s often a bit sneery and definitely does that withering looking you up and down type of thing.
Her, m her Dh and kids, live with her parents in a big house, she dives their spare Land-rover car and they pay her dc’s school fees.
Aibu to think she’s got a bit of a nerve to act high and mighty when none of it is her money and the rest of us earn money to pay our own mortgages, bills and cars and therefore maybe don’t own a Gucci belt 🙈😅

You have absolutely no idea what she’s thinking about when you catch her looking you up and down. On occasion I might give someone the once over when meeting new people and I might think nice things like ‘she’s got a good figure / ooh I like that Gucci belt / how can she afford such and such, but yeah I’m only human and I might also think ‘blimey she looks a state on the school run’ or ‘those jeans are a bit tight’. Hopefully I don’t convey my thoughts via my facial expressions, but unless she’s so obviously tutting and looking at you with such disgust, how do you know what she’s thinking??? You’re assuming because she’s a bit flash, she’s criticising you. For all you know, she might pay her parents sky-high rent.

I've had one for a few years, don't even wear it that often but it's not particularly expensive. Compared to a regular belt maybe, but it's hardly a Chanel handbag.
