New mum in the mums group, seems a bit up her own bum about designer labels and clothes etc. She’s often a bit sneery and definitely does that withering looking you up and down type of thing.
Her, m her Dh and kids, live with her parents in a big house, she dives their spare Land-rover car and they pay her dc’s school fees.
Aibu to think she’s got a bit of a nerve to act high and mighty when none of it is her money and the rest of us earn money to pay our own mortgages, bills and cars and therefore maybe don’t own a Gucci belt 🙈😅

She has chosen to live like that. All for her in current times. I'm really glad she's safe and comfortable.
One day though she might want her own space,job,life and due to living with mum nog be able to do that.of wgat when her parents need care.die.

This reeks of cliquey mums at school gates who are shits to an outsider joining the group.

Just ignore her and talk to other people. I have found that it’s those who can’t afford the designer stuff but have it on credit or have fakes that like to look down on those who just have the usual clothes or well worn items.

If its any comfort to you OP, you will reach a point where you look back on these oneupmumship situations and wonder what possessed you to give so much head space to an acquaintance, where they live, the belt they wear and how they look at you.
The culture of who is doing best materially is often symptomatic of a desire to feel we are keeping up as parents by being as well off as other families in our circle. It tends to fade in importance when your children grow up and you realise how little the extra trappings mattered to their outcomes.

i can see how that might be annoying but I bet she feels a bit insecure around other adults who are living more independently.
