Here’s a quick reminder that Hogwarts Legacy is out for PS4 and PS5 and XBox on February 10th.

Switch version coming later.

Video game discussion sites are in the thrall of transactivists who are doing their utmost to cancel this.

Might make a good present for gaming kids in the family with birthdays coming up.

I’m posting this in chat and AIBU for traffic.

Let’s make sure it does well.

I'm a little annoyed that the PC release isn't until 6pm and there is no pre download! I have good internet speed so hoping I can download and get a couple of hours in tomorrow night before bed.

I am not a gamer but I am a potterhead and I am seriously considering buying a ps5 for this. I don't even want to "do" the game so much, I just want to wander around hogwarts 😂

Also I bloody love JKR.

I'm thinking the Gryffindors do because they're brave, the Ravenclaws do because they're rational and logical, the Slytherins do because they are expedient. Are the Hufflepuffs more likely to be #BeKind?

Also I love that HP is so huge my spellcheck knows the names of the houses. No autocucumber for JKR.

It's quite possible to separate the art from the artists. I don't have to be JK Rowlings BFF to still like the Harry Potter world. I can not agree with all she says, and still enjoy it.

My line is if they are still alive and profiting. So I won't watch Roman Polanski's work but I will listen to Elvis.

I like JK so there's no issue there.

Re-did the sorting hat, I'm a slytherin. I was ravenclaw last time I did it! Ah well. The Ravenclaw common room looks so much nicer than slytherin I may have to overrule and go Ravenclaw

Whoop I had no idea it would come out on switch too. My eldest just explained the concept of the game - that it is set pre HP time - sounds clever. Will deffo be getting.

I spent the day between school runs playing it, OMG, it's incredible. The attention to detail and the quality of the graphics is absolutely astonishing. I LOVE it! I genuinely don't think I'm ever going to discover everything in the game, it's so huge 😂

We have three copies in our house!

PC players so I pre downloaded for the kids whilst they were in college and I’m settling down to play when it unlocks in ten minutes 😀

I pre downloaded this morning now just waiting to put DD to bed at 7pm before I can get playing! Luckily DH has arranged to go out tonight so I won't even feel bad ignoring him :D

The office with the pc in is next to DDs room so I'm sure she will pop in to check the game out, she is 6 and already a Potter head!

Ours is downloading apparently. I'm stuck at parents night not sure if I'll manage to get even a look at it.

DS is really excited about it which is a bit of a surprise to me as half his friendship group and his "boyfriend" are trans so thought he might not be up for to.

Not a gamer but I hope it sells incredibly well. She's a wonderful gracious brave woman. My children grew up with the books from us reading to them and gradually reading by themselves. All grown up now and we took everyone including GC to Harry Potter studios. Awesome

As if JKR cares, she's rich as Croesus. The only people they would be hurting are the game manufacturers.

I don't like Harry Potter or Videogames but I support this game. JK Rowling was speaking her opinion which should always be allowed. The Trans lobby cannot expect everyone else to agree with them.
