To Feel Sad About Lisa Marie Presley?

The newspapers are reporting that she has been rushed to hospital after being found unresponsive at home and having suffered a possible heart attack.

This makes me feel so sad. She has had a tough life with the suicide of her son a few years ago!

Yeah, and thats what caused all her issues. Her father died young and all his devotees put their adoration into her, a young girl who had lost her Daddy but was expected to give his fans what they needed.

I say again, she never stood a chance.

I feel sad reading about suicide of her son. That is heart-breaking.
LMP... she had a full life. Cut short, terrible for her loved ones, but not a tragic loss imho.

Seriously? 3 kids have lost their mum, the youngest are only 14.

Priscila has lost her only child.

Nobody should have to go through that. Of course it's tragic.

A 54 year old woman has died leaving her teenaged daughters without a mother, just months after losing their brother to suicide and you dont see tragedy?!

She was 9 years old and in the house when her dad died suddenly and traumatically. Her son killed himself. I'd say that's pretty tough regardless of wealth.

i also read that she had an opiate addiction.

Of course it's tragic. Maybe not personally, but the situation is for those who love her.

Children have lost their mother (added to by the recent loss of a brother), a mother has lost her daughter (added to by the recent loss of a grandson), and she was only 54. I'm sure it was traumatic for her ex who gave her CPR and who will have to live with those memories.

Didn't she marry both Michael Jackson and Nicholas Cage (at different times obviously)?

It seems she lived a complicated life. May she rest in peace. It must be really hard on her family.

The father of her twins went to court twice to try and get full custody given her drug and alcohol use and the presence of accessible guns in her house. The judge ruled that the benefits of them spending time with their mother was greater than the risks of her personal issues and kept custody 50/50. I think those twins have already been through a lot. Divorce, shared custody, her drug and alcohol abuse, their brother dying, them moving to live with her 1st husband etc. Hopefully now they will have a little more stability while grieving their mother.

What sad news, for all the family. She has had tragedy and grief throughout her life. Money does not make it any easier.
