Right hand Wedding ring finger bruise

Would you be worried about a bruise on a ring hand wedding ring finger? My friend is in a long distance relationship with a guy and she’s upset over a bruise on his left hand wedding ring. She hasn’t confronted him about it but says it’s on the opposite hand to what British people wear.

Shes stayed at his house and been seeing him for a while. Bit too early to meet his family.

Any thoughts? He’s Swedish.

Your “friend” needs to leave this man alone. “She” either doesn’t trust him or is actually insane and either should mean she should give this poor man a swerve. A bruise on the inside of a finger on the opposite hand to a wedding ring….. psycho talk man.

I think people need to chill out a bit and stop laughing at OP, this thread's not that amusing and it's really rude. @WorriedWarrier has stated that English isn't her first language as she and sister are Persian. If I started a post in Farsi it would probably be a bit hard to follow as well!

Bruise. Like it’s a cheap metal that’s rubbed of on his finger…. But there is no mark on the side where the knuckle is. As people wash their palms more than the knuckle side, it’s not a reaction to a metal. Does that make sense?

It may well be a cheap ring that's causing the discoloration that looks very much like a bruise. I've had this happen to me loads of times because I buy lots of cheap jewellery 😅 it's the copper in the metal, apparently

www.rd.com/article/green-skin-copper-jewelry/

I agree palms are more likely to be washed and also they get more sweaty, holding hands it's your palms that touch, etc.

The question is, then, I suppose, why would your sister's boyfriend have been wearing a cheap ring on his non-wedding hand, then taken it off when he saw your sister? If it's a ring made of cheap metal the good news is that it's unlikely to be a wedding ring 🙂

I wear a wedding ring and I bruised my hand there at the gym. I swung a kettlebell too abruptly and it jarred with the ring

I don't feel like it's a language barrier that's making this thread unusual.

Shit! Sorry to hijack your to thread but I just realized DH had a bruise on his knee this morning. He didn't give any explanation as to how it got there. Do you think he might have got it going down on one knee to ask another woman to marry him? He's never shown any signs of cheating in 20 years but he was slightly longer taking the dog out last night!

OP you've started a lot of threads in the past week across a whole host of subjects. Whilst I'm not suggesting any of them aren't true and it's entirely up to you what you post it does read as though you start a thread for any random thought that crosses your mind. And then often only give half an answer to the sensible questions that follow as people try to help.

School holidays ...

That. Or he's been wearing a wedding ring on it.

Did it bruise the hand you don’t wear your ring on though?

Hey.
not sure why you are being so rude.

someone having a bruise on a finger the possibly could wear a wedding ring…. And it’s the shape of a wedding ring..,, wouldn’t that be suspicious?

You are also married - not dating or living apart.

So have a little compassion.

But.. the "shape of a wedding ring" is also the same shape as any old casual ring OP, don't you see that? That's why people here are confused.

Well quite.

Jumping from a bruise to 'he's married' is such a record-breaking leap of suspicion there must surely be more to have fuelled it.

Is this guy showing other signs of not being faithful? Or is your sister prone to being especially anxious / paranoid?

No other signs… which is why she didn’t say anything at the time and she doesn’t think he’s cheating but it’s just a weird place to have a bruise
