To take my cat for a coffee!

(Lighthearted, before any one moans) Since dogs are allowed in coffee shops, i can't see why Cheddar couldn't come along for a latte with me. (Other cat would hate it, but cheddar tells me she would love it!)

I'm all for it.

Does Cheddar like dogs? Because an animal-friendly coffee shop is likely the have a fair few of them…

I am imagining my local pet friendly cafe and the reaction of the dogs that will be there. Handbags would not be enough of a description.

There are two cat cafes in Belgium I have been to, one in Brussels, one in Ghent. Both have rescue cats that are being introduced to humans again after the traumas suffered by them.

And then take her to Tescos . I’ve seen lots of non assistance dogs at Tesco lately

Why should coffee shops be reserved for dogs? They aren’t in charge.

if Cheddar isn’t fazed by dogs and can stand her ground, she should def go. I for one would love to see more cats out & about.

I think she's ok with them. She lived with two bonkers setters when she was In the rescue.

I've been to Cat cafes but the cats avoid me!

She's the soppiest, most affectionate cat you could ever meet. She adores people, especially men. And I rarely have visitors so she has no opportunity to flirt!

I'm lead training one of my kittens as he has gotten very attached to my retriever who I do take to coffee shops. Once trained I will take him with us. I can't see why not.

Cheddars face is saying "fuck off and leave me alone". I think you'll have to find someone else for your coffee date.
