The Daily Mail has been obsessed with her. Repeated articles, columns, headlines - all having a go at them. Calling them treacherous.

And then - they get upset that Clarkson writes an awful column about what he wants to see happen to Meghan

Gosh - someone gets repeatedly targeted by the mainstream media and then the lead media outlet gets upset that a prominent commentator goes too far even for them.

What did they think would happen?

He has a chance in his speech next week.

It would send a very powerful message to Clarkson, Morgan and the Mail.

I worry where this will end.

The quicker people realise that these articles are written purely to generate traffic to their websites, the better.

it’s kicked up an online storm, it’s trending on Twitter so people will flock to read it online. More traffic to their website = more advertising revenue. It’s as simple as that.

They also have consequences but people like Clarkson and Daily Mail journalists - yes, that means you if you are a Daily Mail journalist - don't care about the consequences of their words on real people. It's all about the clicks.

Oh god that is horrendous. I’m glad Kathy Burke called him a colossal cunt. He’s just proved H&M right as well. That’s really upsetting.

They do it because it makes them look balanced and not anti-Meghan. Yet, we all know the truth - how they spoon feed their hate to their sheep readers daily. They also know that their readership will secretly love it, and enjoy reading about it, but can feel superior that they aren’t directly associated with it.

What a disgusting thing to write. I feel very sorry for MM and Clarkson making light of Rose West’s victims is sickening.

Rose West, murdered at least 10 people including her own daughter and step daughter. Sexually abused her children, held her daughter down whilst Fred West raped her (starting age 8), imprisoned and tortured victims before murdering them, dismembered and buried victims under the house/in the garden.

I cancelled my Times subscription today and wrote telling them why. I can't stand Harry and Meghan but what Clarkson wrote was disgusting and hate speech. Deplorable. I thought the Times was better than that, but then again they still employ India Knight.

I love nothing more than curling up with the Sunday Times and a coffee but this was a step too far.

Not saying either way if a spokesman did say this but a formal statement from KC and a published press release is a different league. And I assume that’s what people are keen on when they say the King should make a statement.
