I love really good pop songs, by that I am not talking about lyrics, singing ability, deep relevance in terms of zeitgeist, I mean you hear it, you sing it, you want to hear it again. It makes you happy when it comes on.
Other Contenders for me are;
Love Sex Magic- Ciara
Sweet Dreams my LA ex- Rachel Stevens
Candy- Robbie Williams

I mean they're not up there with the White Album and Rumours but they're perfect examples of the genre.

Personally I think 80s pop songs are far superior. For me it's Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.

Tis a parody of Wham if it's of anyone, but you could insert any generic pop duo there I guess, but comes from Music and Lyrics (Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore) where Hugh plays a washed-up old 80s boyband member. The video is a corker.

Sparkling give it to the chorus at least, lady, tis an earworm which you'll be humming tomorrow and is the hill upon which I will die.
Albeit this hill includes O-zone Dragostea sin tei, Scatman John's Scatman, ATC lalalalala, Eiffel 65 Blue and Rofo's theme, before we even get into proper europop. Where's Antoine de Caunes when you need him?!

I dont know how to add to the play list but Talking Heads Once in a Lifetime needs to go on there and B52s Love Shack. Is Bowie not on Spotify? Ive never had it before. Oh and James Brown Sex Machine.
