Yes

Motnight · 05/12/2022 19:37

Yep. Awful.

Theluggage15 · 05/12/2022 19:40

She’s related to a high up at the paper. Horrible woman.

Omg how awful

Is there a campaign to raise attention to this!

I don't want to subscribe to a newspaper that gives wages and a voice to paedophile supporters!

Greenthomson · 05/12/2022 20:29

I know, I didn’t know this until yesterday until I read some of the comments in the Times on her article.. really really horrendous..

I gave up my subscription to The Times recently, so I’m in the dark about her husband. Can you elaborate without the censors deleting it?

Clymene · 05/12/2022 20:35

She lives with Eric Joyce, disgraced former MP and convicted paedophile. Her disabled teenage daughter no longer lives with her.

Trees6 · 05/12/2022 20:40

Was her teenager removed or did she go of her own volition?

shreddies · 05/12/2022 20:41

It's incredible isn't it. God knows what the web of obligations is that has entangled the Sunday Times to such an extent that they can't let such an average writer go.

hamstersarse · 05/12/2022 20:47

Looking at the list of incidents he’s been involved in on wiki, I’d wonder if he’s abusive to her

it’s the only non revolting reason I can think as to why she’s still with him

Greenthomson · 05/12/2022 22:02

he should be in jail from what I’ve read. I am amazed how few people seem to know, myself being one of them until yesterday. Think they must have swept the internet..

Yes she write an article a couple of months ago about the latest bloke to be in disgrace about something (maybe Matt Hancock). Read the comments below which were along the lines of how can you be such a hypocrite given who you're married to. Looked him up and was shocked.

Agree I have no idea why the Times firstly employs her and secondly gives her that degree of prominence.

I still have a times subscription but I will never click on that woman's articles again. Hopefully if enough people stop reading her they'll eventually give her the boot.

bookworm14 · 05/12/2022 22:13

Ghastly woman. How can she bear to live with someone who downloaded a video of a baby being raped and searched for ‘material’ featuring 5-10 year old girls? I’m sure this thread will be deleted, but it enrages me that the pair of them just blithely carry on with their lives as if we don’t all know what he did.

LBFseBrom · 05/12/2022 22:16

The entire scenario is a mystery to me. I used to enjoy reading her articles, thought she was insightful and at times delightful, plus she was a mother of three and went through all the usual angst.

Then - she got involved with that man Why? He must have weaved a spell over her (if spells are weaved). It reminds me of the Epstein/Maxwell connection more than twenty years ago; I can't get my head round how a personable young woman became so involved with him. Thank goodness she got out of it but is paying the price now.

There is something about these sinister people, they are extremely seductive and plausible.

No doubt India Knight thinks her man is innocent, has been set up or whatever. Who knows? I would like to know and think her world will come tumbling down eventually.

Greenthomson · 05/12/2022 22:24

It is unbelievable, I will never read anything by her again. I’d liked her also, ok she was a bit smug at times, but seemed nice enough and ok writer. Now am so creeped out, her poor daughter and family..

Her stepfather is Murdoch's best man/second in command of Murdoch's news empire, to which The Times belongs.

FairyLightAddict · 05/12/2022 22:31

Just read his Wikipedia. The list of arrests is bonkers. I noticed India's not on it

MadelineUsher · 05/12/2022 22:48

I think Maxwell did a lot more than simply getting involved with Epstein, and she is paying the price for what she herself did, which was decidedly foul.

WaxingGibbon · 14/02/2023 13:22

Ok I know I’m resurrecting a zombie thread from a couple of months ago.

I just thought we could all do with a reminder that this nauseating and untalented woman is still in a relationship with Eric Joyce, a convicted child sex offender who enjoys, amongst many other revolting things, watching footage of babies being raped.

Can anyone throw any light at all on why there continues to be a veil of deathly media silence around this story?

EmmaGrundyForPM · 14/02/2023 13:44

God knows. She wrote an article a few months ago about how creepy Prince Andrew is, which I saw on Twitter. I commented that he possibly wasn't as creepy as the bloke she lived with who downloaded videos of babies being raped, but it disappeared into the ether.

He's a convicted child abuser. I suspect that her teenage daughter was removed because. IK chose to stay with him, but I don't know.

BillyNighysWife · 14/02/2023 13:51

I have noticed that she now has a new regular (very mediocre) feature in the Sunday Times on cooking. So, it's not just that she hasn't been fired, she's actually been given more work.

It'a awful.

niandraladesand · 14/02/2023 14:01

Because the British media landscape is built on nepotism and connections, and they all protect each other.

I wonder if people in this thread also don't know about Emma Barnett's dad.

niandraladesand · 14/02/2023 14:03

That was meant to be a reply to @WaxingGibbon about why no one talks about this

WaxingGibbon · 14/02/2023 14:07

I know @niandraladesand. The double standards of journalists is disgusting
