Does the UK have a racism problem?

In just the last 24 hours alone we've had in the news:

Prince William’s godmother quits palace over comments to black charity boss

Meghan Markle had several 'disgusting' and credible threats to her life, Met cop reveals

Various people's census rants going viral and getting a scary amount of support

James McAvoy shocked by hometown racism in Glasgow after castmates abused on street

and a few days prior:

London Fire Brigade houses a toxic culture of bullying, racism and misogyny, inquiry finds

I think the UK has a racism problem, yes but Italy and France are far worse.

So what if France and Italy are far worse you can add many countries to the list

but we should be aiming to have no racism in this country I don’t think that sadly is achievable but it should always be dealt with and taken as the serious issues that it is

Well you've just defended my point for me in your second paragraph. Racism is everywhere and will never be eradicated and my point is to put it in perspective that we aren't the worst racism wise in Europe, it was meant as a slight positive and to put it in perspective it doesn't mean stop relax now it's all ok you don't need to do anymore just that it's not as bad as other places we are doing better and should keep doing better! If you are a POC and experienced living in other countries, I think it's a relevant input to comment how the UK compares. Sorry you didn't think so.

There are plenty of instances of racism between different people of colour. White people suffer racism too. Racism is racism. And very wrong.
