I LOVE Georgian houses... I could REALLY make this work...

MonkeyPuddle · 17/11/2022 23:44

Well, it’s nice, but not close enough to my mums house so I’ll have to give it a miss.

SkylightSkylight · 17/11/2022 23:47

Can I please live in one of the cottages? & have use of the pool? Ta

Baconand · 17/11/2022 23:53

Nah, no stables and nowhere near enough grazing to put any in. It’s a No from me.

Honeyroar · 17/11/2022 23:55

It’s a bit too flat, no views. And I’d expect that wine cellar to be filled up for that price!

Whatevergetsyouthroughthenight · 17/11/2022 23:55

I’m exhausted just looking at it by the amount of cleaning and maintenance it needs. Even if you pay someone else, it’s a full time job just organising what needs doing.

Beautiful though!

PickAChew · 17/11/2022 23:58

I ws underwhelmed by the room sizes and ceilings, then saw the wine rack 😜

llareggub · 17/11/2022 23:58

I’m sure I’ve seen the inside of the house on TV. I’m pretty sure it was a drama.

Bucketheadbucketbum · 17/11/2022 23:58

I just love it! Now just need to save up "a bit"

Very nice space but does need a spot of colour on the walls. May I reserve the beekeepers cottage?

Bucketheadbucketbum · 17/11/2022 23:59

It does look like something from a film

Where are the table lamps in photo 4 plugged in - surely the wires aren’t trailing across the floor?!

ChocolateCakeYum · 18/11/2022 00:02

It looks ok on the outside but has a distinct lack of features inside. Kind of bland actually.

I do like the grounds though and those little cottages. Would be perfect for guests / holiday rentals.

PussyGaPaw · 18/11/2022 00:03

The ceilings look claustrophobically low for such a grand house. Shame - I'll have to pass on this one.

helly29 · 18/11/2022 00:07

So. Many. Bathrooms. I could do a lot with that garden though!

KimberleyClark · 18/11/2022 00:09

There are 6 bedrooms and bathrooms but only two of them are in the photos……

WibblyWobblyTimeyWimeyStuff · 18/11/2022 00:11

Nah, that's a right dive!

#kidding - it's gorgeous. Grin

DramaAlpaca · 18/11/2022 00:20

Oh my! It's perfect. Shame about the price.

kopiy · 18/11/2022 00:20

ceilings are a bit low & seems very isolated.

crazycatladyof6 · 18/11/2022 00:23

Bucketheadbucketbum · 17/11/2022 23:41

How does anyone have this much money? Yes it's stunning

Dita73 · 18/11/2022 00:31

It’s nice but the kitchen’s not good and it’s got a swimming pool. They’re tacky and a complete pain in the arse

IfOnlyOCould · 18/11/2022 00:34

I think it's a bit bland. It almost comes across as a new build. I wouldn't say no but there are much nicer houses about

LikeTearsInRain · 18/11/2022 00:34

It’s lovely. Would take too long to do the hoovering and dusting though.

Furries · 18/11/2022 00:37

On the who,e, I absolutely love it. Would change a few bits decor-wise, but it’s definitely right up my alley.

And it’s an absolute bargain compared to this house I saw on TV (Britain’s Most Expensive Homes). It has no soul whatsoever and was/is up for a whopping £30 million.

LaGioconda · 18/11/2022 00:38

My dream house has a stream at the bottom of the garden, and I would have to lose the massive kitchen island. But I guess if they knocked off a few million quid I could compromise on those.
