AIBU to think this is not tat

Recently purchased this rather gorgeous glass and metal pineapple from our local charity shop. I love it, but DH thinks it's ugly tat. Obviously he's wrong and has no appreciation for it's beauty. Maybe you lovely MN'ers can settle this argument for me.

Ah, OP, what a fab thread! I was #teamtat but over the course of 400 posts I've come to feel affection for your pineapple 😄

Plus, delighted to see the gold 50s drinks trolley in an earlier post - I inherited the same from my grandparents. Difference is that ours sits in the back yard covered in plants, and we keep our cocktail glasses in a 1950s record cabinet instead!

I'm Team Tat for the pineapple, but with a new reference point the pineapple seems strangely nice.

I've almost spent the whole day searching for it. The closest was on Shpock, exact same lid. I've asked what it's make is, but no response. I keep checking.
