To ask if you have had any trick or treaters yet?

We’ve had 1 but a friend in another area has had loads. Hope we haven’t bought way too many sweets

I think they must have all done. No knocks in 10 mins 🦇👻🎃

None, thankfully. I haven't put a pumpkin or anything out for years (still some of them sometimes try their luck).

I can hear a lot of them going up and down the road though and I just think that I am rather glad my kids are grown up now and not into that sort of thing.

Less than usual, but it’s raining - so not a huge surprise. They’ve been lovely too, and teens have enjoyed giving out sweets.

Loads. Gone through four bags of mixed sweets already. The boys have started telling them 'one only' after a small witch grasped a handful. And it's only 6.30 - they usually keep going until 8pm here.

We’ve only had two families. Who on earth will have to eat all these sweets now?? 🤔😁

None but no decorations, live on a hill, in a small cul-de-sac and it is pissing down!

We’ve had quite a few. A lot of little kids in really scary clown masks! The weirdest was a woman/girl on her own, who looked early 20s, wearing a red dress and high heeled boots carrying a little bucket. I opened the door, did a double take, she said Happy Halloween all cheerily took a Mars bar and went on her way.

(I appreciate she may have been younger but she couldn’t have been younger than 17! And she wasn’t wearing lots of make up or anything to look older)

We’ve had three knocks so far, expecting some more as we know some neighbours haven’t been yet. .Two wee boys had fabulous costumes and gave us a little packet of ‘homemade’ fudge as a thank you. We’re blowing the pumpkins out at 7.30pm and not answering after then (as we want to watch Halloween and eat the remaining treats ourselves 😂).

A few, but we haven’t got any decs up. Tbh I don’t like Halloween. Plus ds is at football and dd is at dancing. I’m hiding upstairs, trying not to put any lights on.

Only one little fellow has braved the rain and I missed him! By the time I got to the door, all I saw was him disappearing round the end of the drive on his scooter.
Loads of sweets waiting as well.

I've just had one group of very young ones and they've practically cleared me out! I made the mistake of taking the treat bucket down to their level and one held into it while they all grabbed loads.

There was nothing nasty about it, they were very sweet but I was outnumbered 🤣

None before I left the house earlier, but that wasn't surprising given previous Halloweens. They are a rarity here.

No, although we don't have any Dec's. I did leave porch light on. But we've started tucking into the maoams 😂

None at all - we usually only have neighbours' kids here as we're rural but the rain has put paid to anyone coming.

The chocolates will be eaten though, we have teenagers 😂

None- there are certain areas of town that are known for it and kids tend to go there. Where I live is a lot of second homes and a bit out of the way so not great pickings.

Loads and loads, slowing down a bit now, was expecting the rain to put people off but it's been a steady stream since 5ish. We've switched to the teens now, all the littles are at home getting ready for bed.

We have had quite a few groups. But I’ve got loads of sweets. We ran out last year, so I got ridiculous amounts this year.

Hopefully more people come so I can give it all away.

Loads and we ran out of sweets so had to hurriedly take all the decorations down. We went full out at well. Big bags of haribos, skittles, freddos, kinder. Older kids take handles really peed me off. I said oi how many are you taking.

It's been heaving since about 5pm. £30 of sweets all gone. It's been like Piccadilly Circus here!
