Markets obviously right to see Johnson implosion as v positive for UK assets. But worth noting that ERG members have been openly threatening Rishi Sunak today over NI protocol. Britain not out of the woods yet...

The markets need certainty, as we’ve seen. Even if the news is bad, very bad, they can price it in and try to manage the outcome. It’s volatility, uncertainty and a lack of control that throws them as they can’t anticipate, project and therefore manage likely outcomes.
