Are these pictures creepy ? Shall I ask my boyfriend to remove them

Hi my partner knows I absolutely love cats especially black cats and he bought me these two canvases however I don’t think these cats look very
friendly!

I mean they are lovely pictures but I find them Very creepy
He has put them on the wall next to our bed
l I’m thinking of asking him to donate them somewhere but am I being unreasonable

There's nothing sinister or satanic about them. The one wearing a pentagram is supposed to be a familiar, but there's nothing evil about it or the symbol. A lot of women like it as a celebration of female mystical power. If you believe in that sort if thing then it's a protective not threatening symbol.
That said, as 'art work' they're not the best and I don't think I'd want them on my walls. I suppose it boils down to his feelings versus your aesthetic sensibilities!

PS - absolutely no need to have anything on your wall that isn't your taste. You don't have to keep a gift just because it was a gift.

These are Wiccan/Pagan images. I dont hate them but I wouldn't have them up in my house as they aren't my taste. They aren't yours either and that's ok.

Not true at all. Here's an inverted pentagram depicted in a window on Amiens Cathedral in France. A Roman Catholic house of worship.

The one on the right is much nicer. It’s quite a different style to creepy sand timer kitty and deathly reflection.

They are a bit Camden Market I thought they were cute but the first one with the creepy person in the background in pic 1 is not nice.
I think black cats = wicked magic is too overplayed now. I like seeing black cats doing normal silly cat stuff. The stigma against black cats is quiet sad and for a long time made them unadoptable and unlovable so I veer away from things that perpetrate that stigma and so would not pay for such photos.

I know the OP asked if we liked them or not - but it really matters not one jot who here likes or hates them.

You shouldn't feel as if you can't say no to something being put on the walls of your own home. Any of the walls!

The second one is a Lisa Parker piece.
She does occult paintings of cats with pentagrams and there is a huge following.

I personally love them but I love all that stuff so I guess if you didn't like that aesthetic it would be off putting.
