Loved him in tutti frutti, and comic strip... Cracker was fab... And he was brilliant with Julie walters as the 1970s seedy comedian.

I'm so upset - I used to watch Cracker with my dad (RIP) we rewatch Harry Potter every year wit the kids.

I think you have the wrong actor. That was John Candy, who sadly passed away in 1994.

Very sad here. I hope they re-show Tutti Frutti and Cracker. He was so good in Cracker.

Loved him in Cracker. He gave the overweight, chain smoking, whisky drinking, gambling, smart arse genius massive sex appeal. With any other actor you wouldn't have bought that women really fancied him but it totally worked. A sad loss.

And Panhandle was Harry Potter's mum!

I liked him as the unintelligible Scotsman (one of Daphne's brothers?) in Frasier.
