Sorry to hear that vera99. It's no fun finding such extremes in your family is it? Therapists are going to make a lot of money attempting to de-program these cult believers once we get through this. It's very scary.

Cheers, he also does Mindspace as well so you would think that would aid critical thinking but apparently not. Must be living in North Norfolk that does it !

That said he's no fascist and a lovely man and I give him a good-natured hard time in friendly arguments.

On radio 4 llast night someone said "if there is a u turn, Liz Truss is finished; if there is NO u turn, the party os finished.". She is so unbelievably stubborn I reckon she's been forced to do this to save the tory party.

Oh of course it was the eminently sensible Boris Johnson who was given the 80 seat majority mandate by the Great British Public (although that's not how parliamentary democracy works).

People in this country have insisted on shooting themselves in the foot (unless they're rich) and voted Tory for the last 12 years. And here we are.

We get the politicians we deserve, Boris and Truss included.

Most people didn't vote Tory in any of our general elections.

Markets have jumped on the rumours of a u turn. Bloody hope they don’t ignore that. Hopefully Tizzy Truss is sufficiently worried she’ll be toppled to force a u turn
