To ask for a handhold I feel so alone

I'm due to have a 6/7 week scan tomorrow after multiple miscarriages (double figures) and I've got period like cramps and bleeding.

I've been bleeding on and off for 2 weeks, no clots.

I feel so alone and I just want to cancel my scan in the morning. Time and time again I've sat in that waiting area, I've had to listen to the "I'm sorry" words, I've had to sit in the family room with a useless leaflet about miscarriage and a box of tissues.

I'm not religious but I could really do with some positive thoughts being put out there for me tonight, I'm not sure I can endure another loss 😢

My sister was recently pregnant with twins and it was a very fraught pregnancy where we thought she might lose both of them. I got into the habit of making a wish for them every time I saw a ‘matching’ time like 09:09 or 23:23. It became known as ‘twin time’ and we would all make a wish for the babies. They are both now safe and healthy. Twin time wishes have magical properties. I’ll send a wish for your baby the next time I see a twin time - you see them more often than you’d think!

Just jumping on to send you my best wishes and highest hopes for your baby. Having had 5 early miscarriages and one late loss myself I remember the stress of subsequent pregnancies very well. Glad you’re getting frequent reassurance from scans etc. I am currently on the sofa with the two happy healthy children I eventually had, one of them I had intermittent bleeding in pregnancy up to about 10 weeks. Sending positive thoughts for you OP.

All went well for me too. Baby measuring on date with a tiny heartbeat. They were happy with heart rate and booked me in for another scan two weeks today.

It’s funny you mention numbers as I’ve been seeing 2222, which is associated with good news. Strange as I’ve never really paid attention to numbers but have seen these at least twice 💛

I'm in the car with my family driving south on the motorway and have told them your story - DH, DD(13), DS (11) and I all send a big cheer to you and your little baby and all good luck for your baby's ongoing health and development - come on little one!

I remember seeing my DD at 8 weeks scan. Extraordinary feelings.
