I don't think I'm being unreasonable. She's put everything out there to safeguard children in the face of vile misogyny and cowardice from many of her fellow writers.

She also always has beautiful hair.

She speaks the truth.

Incredible woman. Every day she does something that makes the world a better place and her courage in standing up for women and children is exemplary.

She made her millions entirely though her intelligence and talent. Given that she is clearly so gifted at doing research, I often wonder why her detractors never actually stop and listen to the points she is making.

It's significant that her detractors can never explain in their own words what she has said that they believe is wrong.

I read the quote the other day where she said that people often ask her how she raised a baby and wrote a book at the same time. And she answered by not doing housework as she is not superwoman, so living in squalor was the answer. And I thought this was lovely response. I am struggling myself with not being able to do everything at once just now

I know a few people under 30 who love her. Thankfully not all younger people are in the cult.

And my children are growing up very much in a Queen JK household so I have hope for future generations with common sense who know what a woman is.

Yes I am firmly in JKR's camp.

She gives so much to charity, she is eloquent, she has written books that will stay with me forever, she speaks the truth at huge personal cost.

She is wonderful and I wish her the best.

I'd hope she wouldn't shag me given she's married and I'm straight.

But unlike some predatory men who expect lesbians to have sex with them if they put on a dress, JKR is more interested in safeguarding women and children.

I actually think that trans activists did themselves no favour by attacking her.

She should have been able to put across her views like anyone else.

I also think many of these activists did trans people more harm than good.

I have absolutely nothing agains trans people but I really don't like the idea that debate silenced.

Started by writing some mediocre but crypto-nationalist children's books. Ended by writing incredibly blown-up claims of having a publically available address doxxed, to piggy-back the attention that Salman Rushdie was getting.

Couldn't give a hoot about her views on wider issues even if I agreed with them, because she's all bluster and a total pseud.

She has stood up for the rights of women and children and she's done it with a huge amount of grace. She's taken SO much abuse for it. It's why they hate her so much. She will not back down from the truth.

JKR has more moral authority via her honesty (tax payer), charity (huge donations) & intelligence (genuine commitment to thinking through big issues carefully) than almost any other public figure I can think of. I am a grateful admirer of hers. She also added to the magic of my kids childhoods with her books (& asd kid used them to relax / as a sleep aid too). My other asd kid has been targeted by trans activists & I'm able to use the thoughts / writings of JFK as a 'viewpoint to discuss' which helps us.

She's incredible.
