An Oxford professor has started a petition asking if Can Truss and Kwarteng be prosecuted for Misconduct in Public Office. Now we know that Truss will seek to shift blame onto KK.

Can people please remember that the triple lock was suspended last year and is not due to return until next year. Pensions will not be seeing a 10% rise.

I keep reading/ hearing this. But there's no proof ? She had an extra marital affair with her political mentor, whose marriage subsequently ended.

My neighbours are all about the reform party now ! They are fed up with the Tories giving ' handouts ' to people ( unless it's them)
They were upset I got the council tax rebate in May and they didn't ( band E)
I feel that a few might jump ship, but keeping the core voters happy is important to them.

I would judge them WakeUpAndBe . The problems arise when you appoint an ex lover to a cabinet job though. Colleagues are bound to suspect favouritism.

Protecting their main voting block was one of the reasons for lockdown.

Also concerning that in that debate with Sunak, Truss put the pandemic down to a once in a hundred years quirk. Truth is we don’t know… it doesn’t work exactly like clockwork and the variables are different with climate change (which I’m not sure she believes in anyway).

Truss needs to act more cautiously… it is possible another crisis might hit us.

Seriously? That's the great trusted list. Jake Berry impregnated Alice Robinson? His girlfriend who he married and had 2 more children with. It was actually decried as being a list put together by researchers ( not spooks 🙄 ) in an article by The Mirror (hardly a Tory paper!) and was taken from gossip written in newspapers. Even some of the supposed victims have denied the allegations.

I hope Liz Truss is gone by the end of the month but for things she's done and not for twitter gossip.

Highlight of today’s politics for me is Michael Gove describing Truss’ policy of borrowing to fund tax cuts for the wealthiest in society during a cost of living crisis not conservative and not right either. Good for him!

It might backfire , but today he told the truth

Sunak, Truss and Kwarteng have just written the next Labour adverts.

All you need is clips from some of the debates with Sunak saying what would happen, Truss denying it. Kwarteng supporting it, Truss saying about her views and then a few news clips with people talking about mortgages, cost of living etc

Then you go to the Labour point of view and what they would do.

KK gave himself and colleagues a stealth pay rise through the tax cuts.

If the hedge fund managers are calling KK a “useful idiot” then I wonder what they call Liz Truss?!
