Facial tattoos

I was walking in the park yesterday and a man in his mid 30's walked past with a little boy. The man had a few tattoos on his face and it looked awful. Not to drip feed but he was also shoutng and swearing at the little boy and although the boys mum was with him she just carried walking, butthats not what I'm talking about here. Does anyone like facial tattoos or am I being judgemental?

However, unless the facial tattoos have significant cultural significance, they look shit and freak me out massively.

I don't like them either, but each to his own.

Not sure if the tattoos have any bearing on the shouting at the child - you seem to be implying that the two go hand in hand.

That's what I'm asking , I don't know anyone with facial tattoos, I just wondered if it was a certain type of person.

I don't know how to answer this. These are not mutually exclusive options. I don't personally like facial tattoos, but I also think you are being judgmental.

What a daft thread. You’re being judgemental saying that you think a ‘certain sort’ of person would have a facial tattoo but equally it’s perfectly obvious that bloke wasn’t a nice man… but it’s not exactly a cause and effect. Plenty of lovely people have face tattoos, plenty of arseholes don’t… I’d hazard a guess that there’s more of the latter than the former so by your logic, people without face tattoos are awful?

facial tattoos aren’t for everyone and personally I don’t like them. Facial tattoos have got exactly fuck all to do with the man shouting at his child

Are you being judgemental? If you're saying you believe all people with FTs are arseholes like the park guy, then yes.

However, face tats are definitely a bold statement and undeniably it says something - 'I have chosen to be outside of the social norms by permanently marking my face with ink'? - and human beings as a species are often uncomfortable with people who don't conform.

Meh, completely up to other people what they do with their appearance. Can’t really get worked up about face tattoos. It’s personal preference and I wouldn’t judge someone for having a face tattoo.

My own mother has a facial tattoo
Was I pleased when she got it absolutely not! I was 16 at the time I was mortified.
Dose it make her shout no it didn't 😂
She also has a well paying job and been in employment the whole time shes had it.
I'm not a fan of tattoos atall but I personally wouldn't judge somebody for them.

If he ticked every box for the job and his tattoo wasn't something obviously offensive such as say, a swastika then yes, of course.

I don't like tattoos at all but see no difference to ones on the face or arms or anywhere else, they don't make you any more like to shout and swear though and it should make no difference to employment
