And to get back to the original OP, before my bilateral mastectomy (due to breast CA, which anyone who wants to search my posting HX can confirm), I regularly wore very tight sports bras owing to being fairly big busted and also a runner, and I can confirm, that weight loss/gain/pregnancy and breastfeeding aside, my breasts never changed size or shape.

And none of the sports bras I've ever purchased have had any sort of warning on them that my breasts could change shape or size. Christ, if they could shrink your breast size, many many of my friends could have saved $$$ on breast reductions if that were the case.

To say that sports bras are equivalent to breast binders is naive and disingenuous at best, and at worst, dishonest and downright dangerous.

Binders for children are dangerous and abusive and should be made entirely illegal (If they aren't already).

He was very strongly of the opinion that he needed his body to match how he felt - societal views of the masculine body gave him something to aim for.

So believing that being a man means being masculine, not having breasts etc.
Not something I believe and seems like this particular aspect would overlap with traditional, rightwing and Christian beliefs (Not saying he was, just that the aspect of man = male-bodied would be a shared belief).
It must surely be a result society constantly telling us men are masculine, women are feminine, so there is no room for masculine females or feminine males. Really something I would love to change. I guess some people conclude that the gendered expectations are wrong, and some conclude that their bodies are wrong.
Or that it's too hard to fight the expectations of how you are treated due to your sex.

no one should interfere with your parenting, especially not behind your back. Its a safeguarding issue. Safe people model safe behaviours.

From what I can tell, it seems that if you are a female person who likes girls or no one, has short hair, wants to wear trousers etc - what used to be called a tomboy- you are now supposed to “identify as trans”.
